Mission: Tokyo ; espresseol
After getting the mission details, L.Joe had messaged his partner to meet up with him at the airport. He had both of the tickets, as well as all the other given supplies and his own backpack filled with important things, like clothes and anything he thought might need. (He was silently thankful for his self-sufficient pets, so he could embark on this adventure without worrying about the state of his businesses and family.) They met up and discussed the best plans they could come up with during the flight to Tokyo in order to be one of the first teams. L.Joe wasn't worried about being first, he just wanted to finish the mission.
This was the first time that L.Joe had been in Japan but he was -- fortunately -- paired up with someone who spoke Japanese and knew the area. After the plane touched down and they got off, he looked around in amazement at the unfamiliar scenery. He kept his hood over his head in order to block out the bright lights but just kept looking around, forgetting why he was there in the first place, The airport looked like the one in South Korea but for some reason it also look... different.

+ { ❝ -- There’s never a need to change; keeping life constant is how Bora lives. The same make up, the same look, and definitely the same radiant smile. There was no need to waver, no need to stand out from the norm. Something regular, like a victory. The girl that stood in high heels, strutting through the airport with a swarming of screaming fans, yeah-- she always wins. If she had to pull a few hairs and step on a few toes, she would. The only thing that matters at the of the day was the title and bragging rights of winning; }
{ ❝ -- Her heels clicked on the marble floor, with her glasses shielding her eyes from the sun rays and flashing cameras. Her feet were on autopilot with her steps all the way to the entrance of Narita International Airport, having been there once or twice. When more fans caught sight of her, the screams got louder and was even approached by some. She didn’t think much of the matter and carried on in front of the entrance and getting surrounding fans; }
{ ❝ -- Getting besieged by fans was a given when out in public but one female caught her attention. The shorter female didn’t carry a camera nor a poster with Bora’s name plastered on it. This female had a dull look with a murderous aura while shoving to get her way in front of the idol. With a huge smile, she happily pulled out her silver metallic sharpie and signed the eagering fan’s cheek as a prize for her dedication. One autograph after another, she signed a bunch with huge smiles for the selcas. The short female stood still without squirming at all. Bora assumed it was from shock but apparently she’d learn that it was quite the opposite. Being the angel Bora was, she attempted some japanese, saying a simple; } “Anata wa tottemo kawaii desu”, { ❝ -- sweetly yet hesitantly; }
{ ❝ -- For a few moments, Bora’s mind wandered away from the thought of victory which drove her insane. A small grunt escaped under her breath as she turned her head in different directions. The only thing given to her were some useless books, easily accessible with her phone, a key, and her partner’s information. What was her name again-- ugh; } “RILEY?”, { ❝ -- the female spoke in the crowd, hoping to get through the fan’s screams and catch the attention of her partner. She looked in front of her again, wanting to advance forward but only to see the short female still staring at her. Her brows knitted a tight line as she tried to understand why the female hasn’t moved a pinky. Her eyes glanced up and down to see a small passport in her hand with her ticket pointing out still. ‘Jung Eunji’, ‘Incheon Airport to Narita International Airport’; }
Well, found her.

We got a few asks about partners not answering asks about the event. We will give them time until this friday, because that's stopping some of the members who really want to participate. So if your partner didn't answer you, please contact us so we can assign you a new one.
» Amazing Race; Mission 01
Henry's eyebrows were furrowed in confusion as he flicked through the Korean-Japanese dictionary in his hands. Even though his Korean wasn't really bad anymore, he still used an English-Korean dictionary at times -- so this was ten times worse. But that didn't kill his motivation to win this game in the slightest. Quite the opposite, actually.
"Good thing you speak English," he said to Soojung with a grin on his lips as they left the airport, and Henry took a moment to look around the place. It wasn't his first time in Japan, but he was still amazed by it -- and also, really excited. "Okay, you have the map. Check it, hurry!"
It was hard for him to contain his excitement, so he started jumping up and down while waiting for Soojung to check the map and lead the way. That it made him look like a kid rather than a 24 years old man didn't bother him at all.
MISSION #1: Japan!
Amazing Race has finally started! Each team will be given two plane tickets, a korean-japanese dictionary, a map of Tokyo, 200 dollars and a key. Once they arrive to the airport, they have to rush to walk around the city until they find a Yatai (japanese food stall) with an "Amazing Race" banner on it. All the keys will work in the padlocks, the lucky ones will get to find the nearest Yatai's, the others... Well, they'll have to keep on looking. Charisma is the key for this mission, since they will have to sell traditional japanese street food. The recipes will be inside the stall, as well as the ingredients. Once they make 10,000 yen, they will have to make their way to Tokyo Tower to get their next mission. Good luck!
Make sure to read the rules!
The prices might vary depending on the food, usually they go from 100 yen to 400 yen. If you're lucky and your food is good, you might get a little more.
You can get tips from people, but only up to 300 yen per person.
Remember that you have to gain attention from people, which won't be too hard since the Yatai's will be in different popular locations in Tokyo.
P.S: Let's make this as realistic as possible. Even though the idols might be pretty popular in the city, that doesn't mean they will reach their goals in less than an hour. They will have to work hard, not only to make and sell the food, but also to find their stalls. Once they reach their goal and make it up to Tokyo Tower, make sure to message the blog so we can make an update and give you the next mission.
