Day 2 stats
Started at 7:37. Temp was 37. We rode 67.96 miles in 4:51. We averaged 14.0. Mph. We climbed 4472 feet and descended 3550 feet. Was a great ride over McClure pass which was a steep little climb. Amazing weather and not a cloud in the sky! We're showered and headed into Carbondale for a cold beer and some french fries.
Day one done!
80 miles in a headwind. Plus 4,000+ (I think) of climbing. Enjoying a pre-beer smoothie in the shade! The altitude got to me a little today so hopefully I'll be a little more acclimated for day 3 over independence pass.
