Opinion: Arctic Monkeys lyrics are so fucking hard to learn
I consider myself pretty good at learning lyrics, and I can usually sing along by at least the third or fourth listen. I managed to memorize bohemian rhapsody pretty quickly, and my parents think I came out of the womb knowing all the lyrics to the pixies. Oasis lyrics stick in my mind really quickly and I can sing along on a third or fourth replay.
BUT ARCTIC MONKEYS. I still don’t know all the lyrics to RU Mine. I have absolutely no idea what the words in 505 are. And I have listened to them so many times. How the hell do people know the lyrics to Mardy Bum? The only one I can somewhat sing to in the verses are Florescent Adolescent. Please like and comment if you have this problem. I literally don’t know why but the lyrics don’t stick in my head. Maybe I need to purge All too well ten minutes.
