Manifest + Obrafour "No Shortcut to Heaven", film re-worked by Fahari Sound International. The film brings to focus the incredible hardships brought upon the African people, mostly from outside of Africa, by the endemic culture of corruption as well as the exploitation of diamonds, the vast deposits of mineral wealth & an abundance of other resources. This song is perhaps one of the most refreshing & intellectually compelling works of art to come out of the African continent in recent times.

ラバダブとフリースタイルの違いは何ですか？と質問を受けました。 わかるようなわからないような…強いて言えばハイコンテクストかつ伝統芸能的な型が強いのかなと。 1980年代のオリジナルRub a dub StyleはPart 2 Styleとも呼ばれており、7インチレコードA面のヒット曲やRiddimに対するアンサーをB面のVersionでしていくのがお約束でした。これについては、Jah LoveやKing Stur Gav （King Stereograph）などのテープをチェックしてみてください。 日本で言えば大喜利や漫才のような感じで、型の中でスキルを見せつける要素が強いと思います。 Stalag Riddimならとりあえずサウンドネタ、Full up Riddimならとりあえずガンジャネタ…みたいなRiddimの知識も必要だと思います。もちろん時代はどんどん変化していくので、この限りではないと思いますが、1980年代のジャマイカではそうやって楽しんでいたっていう話で、日本においても我々の世代まではそこに憧れてたと思うわけです。 ラバダブがうまいというのは、ただフリースタイルがうまくてトップオブザヘッドがうまいのとはちょっと違うのかもしれない… とりあえずなんだろう…この異様な盛り上がり方がRub a dubということでね。ぜひ映像をチェックしてください！ #hibikilla #Japanesereggae #rubadubstyle #逆に #ninenightriddim
