“There’s nothing wrong with you. There is absolutely nothing wrong with you. Don’t ever let yourself believe that there is.” (meme) - from 15, to Ruby! @ordinariums
She should leave it at that. She should do what she always does: get over it, stand up and keep going, because she can't change her past and rationally she knows that kids who were abandoned battle with that insecurity, she's done her therapy as a teen, she knows it's not her fault. She should absolutely leave it at that. Especially now that she's found her mother and knows she was given up out of love, and that her mom Carla supports her in every way and even her father wants to meet her-end of the story, right? Fairy tale ending.
"There is," she blurts out, and she has no idea of why she's starting to cry, of why she suddenly has no doubt that there is something profoundly wrong with her, that he knows that too, that they all know and that they all left. "Of course there is, that's why everyone leaves-that's why you left, and it's always going to be like this, and I don't know what it is but I know it's there, it's me." He should've picked Rogue, honestly, if he had he'd be traveling with him til the end of time, instead of keeping her and then disappearing.
