Dang that was amazing, it definitely did a few things I could not expect coming, it was all so awesome though. I loved it, was literally gasping at every scene and man do I love my main girl Ruby. This show is so inspiring to me, from the animation and story to the character design and everything, I’m so glad it exists - thank you for that Monty, and everything else too <3
Can’t wait for the volume, thank goodness it won’t be too long a wait!

What warms my heart more than anything is Ruby's reaction to Penny being a synthetic being. Because we knew she'd be accepting, but she exceeded all expectations. She wasn't freaked out in the least. She didn't go "Oh wow! That sure is different/weird/strange but you're my friend so its ok!" She IMMEDIATELY made Penny feel normal. Like there wasn't anything wrong or different about her. You could tell Penny expected Ruby to see the differences. Ruby surprised her by focusing entirely on similarities. She told Penny that she had a heart and soul, just like everyone else. She told her that she wasn't a weapon or some assembly line product, she told her she was just as human as anyone. And THAT'S how you talk to someone who tells you about their identity. Because in the end, they are just like you. So just say that from the start, who cares about the differences. Accept people by telling them there was never a reason NOT too.
