Author’s note: Here's the next chapter! Sorry it took me a while, I was very busy and had a BIG writers block again. Anyway, enjoy!

On the morning of the coronation, Moe woke up excited as he got out of bed.
‘It’s my coronation day!’ Moe thought excitedly, his tail wagging.
He brushed his fluffed-up bed head fur and then got dressed in his coronation uniform.
Then Moe smiled at himself when he looked at himself in the mirror, when he was ready.
He was dressed in his white coronation uniform with a blue sash.
Moe felt excited and was nervous about today.
He took in a breath before he left his room with a smile.
As Moe walked down the halls, he noticed from the windows that there was a lot of excitement in the kingdom.
Ships were arriving at the fjord docks as everyone in the kingdom was getting ready for the celebration. Some people were gathering at the gates.
Moe smiled softly as he looked down from the window before noticing Gwen Redd and her 9 year old granddaughter, Ruby Redd, walking down the hallway.
Ruby’s eyes lit up when seeing Moe and ran to him, exclaiming, “Moe!”
“Hey, Ruby!” Moe exclaimed, smiling and hugging her.
Ruby hugged him back, giggling. “Happy coronation day!” the little girl said, looking up at him.
“Thank you, Ruby!” Moe said with a soft chuckle, looking down at Ruby before looking up at Gwen as Ruby looked out the window.
The elderly lady smiled at both of them before walking to him. “How are you doing, your majesty?” Gwen asked, looking at Moe.
The wolf made a bit of a face and shrugged. “Eh… I’m alright. I’m excited and nervous for today...” he said with a nervous chuckle.
That got a chuckle out of Gwen. “Don’t worry, today will be a good day. A great day to be remembered,” she said comfortingly, still smiling softly.
Moe started to smile softly again and nodded before looking around. “Do you know if Cedric is up?” he asked, looking back at Gwen.
Before Gwen answered, she noticed that there was an out of place head fur. “Hold on to that thought. Let me help you fix an out of place fur on your head first,” she said, raising a hand to help.
Moe hummed and tilted his head a bit to let her help him. Gwen carefully fixes the head fur and slicks it back as she says, “Cedric is up. I think he’s in the library."
“Thanks.” Moe said as he smiled and nodded to her.
As Moe left, he heard Ruby gasping excitedly and asked Gwen, “Grandma, the maypole is up! Can I go and play with it with the other kids?”
“Sure. I just need your help for one more thing and then you can go play.”
“Ok!”
Moe chuckles softly as he goes to the castle library while Gwen and Ruby go down the hallway.

Cedric watches out the window, seeing all of the guests arrive at the castle gates and the people of the kingdom celebrating for the new king.
‘That’s a lot of people…’ he thought, watching them for a moment before looking at his reflection.
He was wearing a white uniform with a red sash and red cape, perfect for a celebration.
The snake sighed softly before slithering away from the window and went over to one of the tables of the library.
The table had a candlestick and round ornament on top.
Cedric stares at both of them before looking at his glove and then he carefully takes off his tail glove, putting it down on the table.
‘Conceal and don’t feel… be in control…’ he thought as he shakily picked up the candlestick and round ornament.
Everything was going good for about a few seconds until Cedric felt his powers come though and iced both of the objects.
Cedric gasped when that happened, quickly putting them back on the table before looking at his tail, staring at the claw scar. “It’s ok, you’re fine.” he reassured himself, putting his glove back on. “You’re just going to wear the glove for the celebration. That’s fine.”
He starts to dust off some of the ice off the ornament.
Then he heard the library door open, which startled him and caused him to accidentally knock the candlestick to the ground, the ice breaking off the candlestick.
Quickly, Cedric swiped the ice under the table and picked up the candlestick.
As he placed it back onto the table, he heard Moe call out, “Cedric?”
“I’m over here, Mason.” Cedric replied, wiping off any of the leftover ice as it melted before looking at where his friend was.
Moe walked over to Cedric with a warm smile. “Good morning.” he said when he got to him.
“Good morning.” the snake said, nodding to him. “How are you doing?”
“I’m doing very well, very excited… and nervous too.” Moe chuckled nervously.
Cedric nodded, humming softly. “I see. Everything will be ok.”
Moe smiles at Cedric before looking at the window. “Have you seen the guest arriving?” he asked, pointing at the window.
“I have.” Cedric said, nodding. “I was trying to see if my sister was in the crowd.”
Moe nodded and asked “Did you see her?”
“Not yet, there’s a lot of people.” Cedric said, shaking his head and looking at Moe.
Before Moe and Cedric could say anymore, the library door opened, which got both of their attention.
There in the doorway was some of the guards and the new captain of the guards, Misty Luggins. “Your Majesty and your majesty." she said, nodding to the both of them. “It’s about time.”
Cedric froze for a moment and took in a breath to calm down while Moe smiled and nodded, saying, “Alright. Let's open the gates and let the guests in.”
The captain bowed to them and went to inform the guards to open the gates.
Cedric looked at Moe as the wolf looked at the snake. “Do you want to continue our conversion as we head to the ceremony?" Moe asked, tilting his head to the door.
Cedric looked at the door before looking at Moe again and nodded. “We can continue to talk.”
Moe smiled brightly and started to walk with Cedric out of the library and into the hallway.
“Are you excited for today?” Cedric asked as they went.
“Yes, I am. I’m still also very nervous.” Moe answered, nodding. “I’m still trying to remember that everything will be ok. Though, I’m excited to see Florence again. It’s been a while since I've seen her.”
Cedric hummed and nodded. “I’m excited to see her too.” Cedric said, smiling softly at Moe. “And everything will be ok.”
Both of them chuckled softly as they continued to go through the halls.
At one point, Cedric noticed that Moe had a thought. “What’s on your mind?” the snake asked.
“Ce-ce… what’s your magic power?”
Cedric froze in place and stared at Moe. “What?”
“What’s your magic power?” Moe asked again, stopping walking and looking at Cedric. “Since Dragon Snakes have different powers, I was just wondering if you have any.”
Cedric felt his breathing start to feel heavy. Before he could answer, someone ,from one end of the hallway, shouted, “Hey!!!”
Cedric and Moe looked at the end of the hallway to 20 year old Florence, who quickly slither over to them.
Florence was wearing a beautiful golden color dress with a sun pattern.
The next thing they both knew, they were hug tackled by Florence.
“How are you two? I’ve missed you two!” Florence asked, smiling big.
Cedric nodded and hugged his sister, chuckling softly, “Hey, Flow.”
After the hugging, Florence looked at both of them and looked a bit confused. “Is today a Coronation day or a Wedding day?” Florence asked, pointing at both of the outfits.
Moe shook his head and laughed softly while Cedric sighed and shook his head.
“Today is a Coronation day, not a Wedding day, Florence.” Cedric answered. “Mason had one of the staff make this for me since I had to help make sure that everything is ok in the kingdom.”
“Also the wedding would be us.” Moe added, pointing at himself and Florence.
“Ah, got it!” Florence hummed, nodding softly. “It would be us.”
“In about a year or two.” Cedric said, smiling softly.
The three of them chuckled softly.
“Oh! Before I forget," Florence started, showing a golden laurel wreath and handing it to Cedric, “you forgot your crown, Ce-ce.”
Cedric took the golden laurel wreath from Florence. “Thank you, Florence.” he said to her, putting the golden laurel wreath on his head.
The wolf smiled softly at the two snakes. “Let’s get to the Coronation ceremony." Moe said, tilting his head a bit.
Cedric and Florence nodded with soft smiles.
The three of them went to the chapel where the ceremony will be held, talking as they went.

The chapel was full of the guests and some of the guards and staff, witnessing this ceremony.
Cedric and Florence sat in the front pew as Moe stood at the altar of the chapel.
Moe was wearing the royal coronation cape over his coronation uniform. He closed his eyes as the crown was placed on his head. He slowly opened his eyes to look at the bishop, who presented the scepter and orb to him.
Moe took in a breath and picked up both the scepter and orb before turning to the witnesses.
Moe tried to present himself being confident to everyone as the bishop said a few words before announcing, “King Mason of Los Arenelle.”
“King Mason of Los Arenelle!” everyone cheered loudly and clapped.
The excitement and cheers filled the air, which made Moe smile big and felt reassured that everything will be ok.
