Felassan plucks a book from a shelf and flips through the pages while she returns others to their rightful place. Even while distracted, when Ruby suddenly turns to back track and reshelve a book she'd missed some stacks down, he manages to avoid a complete collision, dancing back a step as his free hand catches her by the waist.
Not that this deprives him of the view. His words are polite if a little teasing â though the way his eyes glimmer and his lips curl into a smirk is not â such that anyone who might overhear would not know the position they're in. "Careful, now. Wouldn't want to undo all of your hard work knocking me over like that."
