I love a good love story. Leo Lambert moved to Tennessee to be with and marry his high school sweetheart Ruby Losey. Leo was a chemist and cave enthusiast who reopened the entrance to Lookout Mountain Cave after it had been closed due to railroad construction in 1905. and discovered an underground waterfall. In 1928, Leo and his crew crawled for EIGHT hours through the tiniest tunnel spaces more than 260 feet underground! To their surprise they found an opening in the cave where they could finally stand and a beautiful waterfall. The entire underground trip took SEVENTEEN hours!! But what a discovery!! Leo named the waterfall after his wife.♥️It’s rumored she made the same underground trip in a DRESS!! Whatta a gal! #RubyFalls #Cave #LoveStory #CoolHistory #RubyFallsCave #WhatAnAdventure (at Ruby Falls) https://www.instagram.com/p/CEUds1epsOW/?igshid=10d52suifrjjd
