ok why not. ruddypaw for ideal to date. and/or doerunner

i think ruddypaw could easily be paired with a lot of different cats. he’s friendly, genuinely sweet, and very compassionate and understanding overall, so he wouldn’t have any trouble getting along with a whole host of other apprentices. overall though, i think he’d be best paired with featherpaw. in clan romance is always simpler than cross clan, but even beyond that, i think the dynamic they have going on is good for both of them. featherpaw’s not as blatantly sweet as ruddypaw, and he reminds her to slow down and consider others on occasion, while featherpaw is able to ground ruddypaw and bring his head out of the clouds. they still have a lot of growing up to do and could become less compatible with time, obviously, but right now i think they work well together.

for doerunner i think i might be a little too sold on her with littleblossom already, but their compatibility is genuinely there. littleblossom is going through a lot of heavy, emotional times right now, as is doerunner, and the fact that they’re coming together and supporting each other in a way that allows them both to laugh a little is super sweet. they still have a long way to go as far as romance, but i think they could work out someday. as for another option...i think i just love the idea of eveningstorm with just about anyone, but eveningstorm and doerunner is another cute concept. eveningstorm would totally shower her with affection, and doerunner would deserve it after all she’s been through.

thrush and ruddy?

Thrushfur cares greatly for ALL of her kits (even those that don’t particularly care for her) and Ruddypaw is no exception. Now, Thrushfur isn’t one to pick favorites, or at least she tries not to be, but she’d be lying if she said she didn’t have a little teensy bit of favoritism toward the kit that looks the most like her. And of course Ruddypaw is a total mamas boy so y’know its safe to say she cares a lot about this good baby and the feeling is mutual. Thrushfur can be a bit of a helicopter parent on occasion, especially toward her youngest, but now that Ruddy and Ash are almost warriors she’s trying to kind of let them go and not hover so much. Secretly she fears the day when Ruddypaw will grow older and possibly resent her (like a certain one of her step-kits) so she’s trying to ease back and not be a hoverer.
