Rudy scratched his head, letting out a small sigh. Steak dinner had sounded pretty good. Then again just about any dinner sounded good to him, especially anything with meat. He was just about to unstuff the napkin from his collar when the scout had a change of heart – something that had him clapping his hands together with a hint of excitement. “Huddah!”

Well, didn't that just make her feel good about the self-placed situation. A grin curled the corners of her mouth up as she nodded towards the exit.

"Let's go then. I think we're pretty close to town-" She had started for the exit, but her steps stoped as she added a footnote. "-Or as close as we're gonna get.-" Back to heading out, leering back at her plus one to ensure that they were following. "Anyway, I'm not about to even try makin' that sorta thing, so... Yeah." Waving off the last few words, the scout pursed her lips into a thin line; Brows furrowing for a moment before her gaze went back to the pyro.

"Don't they feed ya over at BLU?" A quick quip as slender fingers patted the inside of her pockets; checking for keys that should have remained.

The BLU tucks a napkin into the collar of his suit to double as a bib. Did someone say steak dinner?

“Sorry to disappoint, Blue, but I didn’t say nothin’ about a ‘steak dinnah’ or any kinda dinnah,” She apologized, folding her arms over her chest. Though, a soft pang of guilt (if you could call it that) struck her chest; Here the pryo was already ready for a dinner that she had no hand with or even suggested. Hell, they already had a napkin-bib on already. There was a pause while she nipped at the inside of her lip.Let it never be said that she couldn’t be nice.“Eh, to hell with it- I dunno how to make one, but that don’t mean we can’t go out for one, Blue.” She still had a chunk of cash that she didn’t send back home, so what was the harm of splurging a little bit of it?

Caught in the Act {RudenBlu}

Six cups of coffee, and awake for thirty six hours later was a state to see. A state that involved suddenly deciding at three in the morning or close to some ungodly hour that was sounded good was some incredibly disgusting and freezer burnt empanadas. Delicious, but what sounded even better was really the tune in his head. It started as a slight tap of his toe that moved to shimmying of the hips from side to side that evolved to take over his entire body with a side to side shake and a shoulder shimmy shake with a deliberate hip thrust from side to side.

“Don’t leave me.”

Veso grunted, acknowledging that the recently unmasked boy said something, but not necessarily knowing what to say. It’s not like he had a choice in the matter.

“If I do not leave, who vill help you?” He asked instead, trying something different. Maybe he could convince the boy of this obviously right choice. “It is... not very good. And it’s my fa-” He stopped. What was the line with this kid? He didn’t want to scare him, but at the same time- it’s not like the young pyro could feel it. Did he know how bad it was? Could he? It’s not like he could ask ‘where does it hurt?’

“You cannot just... get up and not be impaled.” It was blunt- but that wasn’t going to remove the rebar ripped through the plastic of his leg.

“Hmm…. How would I-? Maybe like this..? No, that’s dumb.” Tossing her ear piece and cap gently on the table in front of her, the scout huffed as she felt her newly acquired ears. There really wasn’t a way to even use her ear piece considering the new placement of her ear-holes, and the cap fared no better. All that did was make it harder to hear and squished the rabbit ears against her head. Not exactly comfortable if you asked her.

With a long sigh, the brunette slouched back with arms folded across her chest. The ears would be around for a while (that much she knew), but it wasn’t like any good was going to come from them as far she she could tell.

Feet propped up on the kitchen table, Matthaus seems rather comfortably lazing about within BLU base not doing anything of particular interest, bar swigging a small glass of vodka. Really, he should be working, but he can’t seem to find a damn to give. Nothing interesting is apparently happening, so he might as well enjoy himself, right?

... Short lived time alone, for Matthaus can indefinitely hear someone coming this way --- be them RED or BLU, he has no idea.

Rolling his eyes to the sound of boot heels clicking into the tiled floor, he lets out a small groan, all the while leaning backward in his chair in an attempt to catch a glimpse of whoever’s coming (hopefully, without falling backward).
