RUDE SFW HEADCANONS:
:this sweet bean doesn’t have many posts about him so I decided to do one while I’m in the Rude mood -ahA unintentional rhyme k m s- I hope you enjoy!:
- Firstly this boy is a big softie behind his very silent stern demeanour.
- The only person really knowing that being Reno.
- He actually has quite a funny sense of humour when comfortable with someone
But in a situation where he’s uncomfortable and doesn’t know the person/people he becomes a big flustered bOY / fumbling over his words and awkwardly averting his gaze /
- Obviously we are all aware he has a thing for Tifa
But the second he first meets his s/o he’s completely smitten
~ this boy falls HARD for people, go big or go home ~
- At first he keeps his feelings on the down low.. that is until Reno starts noticing the small glances he throws your way and how he fidgets with his gloved hands when you’re near.
~insert you like krabby patties don’t you squidward meme but change it to Reno telling Rude how obvious his crush is on them~
- It would take a while for him to even talk to you, not that you hadn’t had a eye for the silent Turk for a while now.
- You’d just assumed he wasn’t interested in getting to know you which admittedly hurt
- but one day you’re stood their making a coffee and in comes Rude
His aura in the room sO obvious even though you haven’t turned around yet you k n o w it’s him
I mean it definitely wouldn’t be Reno you could hear him coming from a mile away
- he starts making small talk over the coffee, visibly nervous which makes you smile because h o l y shit he’s actually talking to you? And he seems nervous?????????
- after a while he relaxes a little more and gets onto the topic of birds and his love from them (this boy is full on ranting at this point completely forgetting how nervous he was)
- You realise that without you making the move nothing will never happen between the two of you because even though he’s comfortably talking to you now he still would N E V E R be comfortable enough to ask you on a date because the fear of rejection is too much for him.
- when he hears the words “ would you like to go on a date sometime “ he freezes
Back to fidgety boy fumbling over his words
~ you take that as your que to leave as you tell him you’ll “see him at 7 and ~ don’t be late ~
-this bOy is a nervous wreck, he runs to Reno who joyfully takes on the role of helping him plan this last minute date
- it gets to 7 and he comes and picks you up from your apartment
He has a little something something for you because that’s what you do on a date right? You give them a gift?
You go feed birds together and it’s really sweet
By the end of the date he’s comfortable enough to hold hands with you, albeit his -for once- non gloved hand is rather sweaty because he’s nervous but it’s still giving you butterflies.
When he drops you back off at your apartment you both stand there awkwardly for a second before he takes a deep breath and leans in to give you a kiss ~ not before asking if he may first ~ and his lips are so soft you’re sure this boy must use chapstick.
- it takes a few dates before you start officially dating and even when you do it’s very on the down low
It’s not that he doesn’t want to show you off it’s that he wants to value the time he gets to spend with you alone without having everyone bothering you both.
- Sometimes you go over to Rude and Renos shared apartment and have movie nights with them both
Reno loves you because you make Rude happy and to him that’s all that matters
Sometimes Rude will wake up to you and Reno making breakfast together for him and he’ll break into a smile at his two d o r k s ~ but will equally be stressed because please don’t set fire to the kitchen ~
All in all dating Rude would be the best, this gentle, sweet, loving boy would love you more than anything and you’d be s o happy together.
Oh and of course before I finish I can’t forget to mention that he would pUt his sunglasses on you JUST to see what you’d look like (not before making sure he had another pair on himself too) hE would be so in love -But would take his sunglasses back after you tried them on bc the boy needs his spare pairs-
