I agree with you about Dani being an artificially created person rather than a clone. But, here's a question for you! Was she created using Danny's and Valerie's DNA, since Vlad was analyzing video clips of Danny and Valerie in the beginning of Kindred Spirits, just before Dani was introduced? 😮

Absolutely not. Danielle is clearly not part African American, and Vlad has no personal interest in Valerie. She’s nothing more than a tool to him. Including her DNA in his attempts to create his perfect son would be counterproductive. He’d be too human, part African American, and risk so many other flaws. What if he had Valerie’s face shape? What if his hair was curly? What if he was stockier than Danny? What if he came out a girl?

Something like that could explain Danielle’s gender, but there’s no reason for Vlad to even consider it. The only reason the clips he had included Valerie were that he made Valerie’s weapons, so that was how he’d been doing surveillance.
