Heyyy! More of these. Thank you!
1: what’s the book you always turn to when you’re sad? Basically anything by Terry Pratchett. 5: describe your favorite goosebump-inducing moment from something you’ve read. Recently, I read a book called Bird Box by Josh Malerman. I wouldn’t say any particular scene was amazingly creepy in and of itself, it’s just the entire book that is. Though the attic scene was the worst. You’ll know what I mean, when you read it. Also the bar scene, but that’s for different reasons. How could she just leave Victor and not put him out of his misery?!
6: what fact did you learn from a book that you use in your daily life? I learned from a QI annual that British cows moo in regional accents so now I chase cows around trying to get them to moo. That. That is my life.
21: if your current favourite book was to be adapted into a movie, what three characteristics would you insist be kept for the main character? Well, my favorite book is A Storm of Swords from ASOIAF. But since that’s all ready a series, I’d really want them to make a Robert’s Rebellion movie. It’s hard to say what the main character would be like or, even, who they would be. Ned? Robert? Lyanna? Rhaegar? Brandon? What about Arthur, Ashara, Cat, Jaime, Elia, AERYS? If it were Rhaegar or Lyanna, I’d want them to be people. I want Rhaegar to be cruel and intelligent, and have plans. I want Lyanna to be fierce and not just another Sansa, acting out her naive young girl fantasy. I’d want Brandon to be swaggering around, flirting with everyone and their dad. And I’d want Barristan x Ashara till the end of my life.
