Thanks to 🍸 @servedbysoberon • • • • • THE LAST MAHALO - 30ml/1oz Habitation Velier Savanna HERR - 30ml/1oz Green Chartreuse - 30ml/1oz Lime Juice - 15ml/0.5oz Coconut Syrup - 15ml/0.5oz Pineapple Syrup - - - - - HOW: Whip shake all with crushed ice / Dirty dump / Top with more ice / Garnish! - - - - - The moment you start using Habitation Velier releases in your cocktails, you know you're up for a specific kind of treat 😅. . This drink is a riff on The Last Word 🤫 much like the 'Nuclear Daiquiri' (a throat-puncher fueled by equal parts Jamaican White Overproof Rum, Lime Juice, Green Chartreuse and Falernum).🔥 It's a beautiful, yet mad concoction that makes you weak in the knees and numb in the head 😵. . For my version, I took the idea of using an unaged overproof Rum: Habitation Velier's HERR, of La Reunion's Savanna distillery 😄 a long-fermented Pot Still Rum that seems to taste like the most divine mixture of nail polish 💅 and battery juice ⚡️ It's nasty in the best way! Add an equal part Green Chartreuse, and we're done with the booze 😆 as there is nothing else on the palatal playing field left to cover 💀. . Lime Juice is used to keep it in line with the concept, and then, weirdly more 'true to the Daiquiri' than the 'Nuclear Daiquiri' 🤪 I opted for adding a sweetening agent in the form of equally split Coconut 🥥 and Pineapple syrup 🍍. Kinda transporting you back to a tropical beach, while your entire palate is still trying to find its way out of the maze of flavors you've challenged it with 👅. .
