I just got back from church and I'm gonna eat lunch. BRB.
I had a short power outage, but the lights went back on. Anyway, at 10 I'm going to church and at noon I'm coming back right after I come out of church and from the supermarket.

Jasper was startled and tense at first, to say in the least, though upon looking round and seeing Amethyst, she relaxed.

Jasper let out a grunt as she pulled Amethyst onto her lap, an arm wrapping around the short Gem. Jasper knew she should have destroyed Amethyst - she was defective, a runt, she was useless and weak, but she was also the only Gem that wasn’t a complete abomination on Earth. Well, that she could find. She had no idea where Peridot was still.
“I’m not going to kill you.” She stated, though her voice was monotonous. She felt pathetic, clinging to a defective Gem out of sheer desperation for some kind of comfort. She may as well be begging the Pearl to pay attention to her, or the fusion to acknowledge her.
It was low, and the fact that she was scared enough to sink to that level was terrifying enough in itself.
