Not really, I don’t really have refs for any of my characters unless they’re outdated. I made like eleven random refs two years ago for funsies of Petrov, Kostya, Will, Lilac, Hibiki, Sun, Yrjö, Worthen, Illy, Rin, and Yuki. Most of them still do a pretty good job at conveying their character designs but some of the palettes are outdated, some have wrong info, others I’ve switched their designs a little bit since making them, etc etc.
More specifically the refs of Kostya, Hibiki, and Yrjö don’t particularly reflect their character well anymore imo. Kostya I’ve just never been good at drawing for some reason 😭😭😭 meanwhile since I draw Hibiki and Yrjö so much they’ve just had a lot of design changes since I made their initial refs…
LONG STORY SHORT: Hibiki has no official ref page rn and Petrov’s is on his Artfight page but the art style is pretty outdated (other than that it’s still accurate though). Hibiki does have a full body drawing that can be found on either the ghost council webpage or his AF. here is a link to my artfight to see any refs of either of them!
I plan on making turnarounds for some of my ocs to practice quicker drawing but I probably won’t have time for that until like may
29 and 17, but for 17 it's specifically someone who isn't childish. People just see them that way for one reason or another.

17- Who is perceived as childlike for whatever reason but actually isn’t?
This is a funny question to me because I have a lot of childish ocs, Hibiki, Petrov, Ayame, Darkness, Mie, list could probably go on… but as far as a character who is perceived as childish…I would say maybe one of my oldest ocs named Kimberly. It’s really based on perception I’d say- she’s 4’10”, has a bit of a baby face, and a really high pitched voice. But she’s just a girly in her 20s who is the castle medic. She’s also very shy which can give her a more childish appearance. Most people believe she is a child- so I guess she isn’t perceived as childlike in an immature way but more of a literally looks like a child way which is probably not what you meant by this question 💀

29- who is grieving?
Honestly I have quite a few. I think the most direct example of this though is Petrov because he thinks his girlfriend is dead & that it’s his fault (plot twist: she isn’t but he doesn’t find out for another 15+ years) and it effects a lot of the ways he acts around Kostya which is like super important for plot. I draw Petrov a lot so here is Lilac...and I just realized I forgot her other freckles and her eyebrows but Im too lazy to go back and fix it atp

(2) Who helped you w/ ur insecurities ?
I don't have a drawing for this one mainly because there isn't a good answer. This is a difficult question for a million reasons because most of my ocs are just me amplifying some part of me to an extreme level as like a way of venting. So all of my ocs in a way have helped me with my insecurities…like I honestly don’t even know how to answer this question without trying to explain my own feelings which I don’t understand half the time. But I would say just in general character creation has helped me a lot in life.

I'm sorry that this ask has been marinating in my inbox for a week but I am now to present you with PETROV FUN FACTS!!! + some old art hehehe
to start off I’d say one of my favorite fun facts about him is he’s dearly attached to his hair. When he first met Kostya his hair was all tangled and a mess since he hadn’t really been taking care of it living in the woods. Kostya went to cut his hair and Petrov absolutely FREAKED. Kostya may have been close to seeing the light that day…
Petrov does not like bitter foods or drinks yet LOVES cigarettes. Like this dude is a chronic smoker of great proportion it’s not even funny. He doesn’t really do it for the taste though, he does it for the feeling, which seems to be a common experience among cigarette users.
Pretty sure I’ve mentioned this but he doesn’t speak English…not really a fun fact since that’s really important to his story but I think that detail sometimes gets hidden among other things.
For most of the story this dude has to cross dress so him and Kostya can date and it’s the goofiest thing ever because he couldn’t give less of a fuck. He’s just out here twirling around in these dresses living his best life.
Hes ambidextrous. He taught himself from a really early age so he could do things more efficiently (since his job was really demanding). But it ended up being a bonus later in life since when two of the fingers on his dominant hand ended up getting cut off…
Petrov is a big animal guy, always taking care of nature (he especially loves snakes). When he used to live in the woods he would always do a ritual after killing an animal to give it thanks.
good segue into saying he’s very religious. He practices a tribal religion where he grew up. I had to write something for a mythology class where I came up with a name for the religion but I can’t find the paper and idr what it’s called atm…
He has heterochromia with one green eye and one blue eye
He has many many many MANY scars…when I made a doll of him the scars were such a pain in the ass to embroider.
His hair isn’t actually blue btw I just despise painting/drawing with black
He really likes knives compared to other weapons but he’s also pretty skilled with guns and swords.
Okay okay that’s all I’ll say for now bc I could go on all day… it’s unfortunate that I only joined Tumblr a year ago because before I got on my Ghost Council kick for two years Petrov was the only OC I would talk about ever which ended about the time I joined Tumblr. He still is my favorite though- but I decided to give some other characters a chance lmao.
I have a shit ton of art of him I’ve never posted so take this piece I did a YEAR AGO (that’s crazy it feels like I did this yesterday) of Petrov in SCS’s style + mine :3 it was made with a piece of scrap paper and I think at the time scs had made a piece with scrap paper so I was like okay I’ll do that too…
Actually SCS is who got me into taking watercolor seriously in the first place…I used to HATE watercolor with every inch of my being but I kept seeing his art and was like woh???? Since when can you do that with watercolor… (I mean I think I had started toying around with it prior to him but it was only really for like backgrounds of collages I did n stuff- but I saw his art and was like yeah I wanna do that)
OC plots for Ghost council, Runaway, 444, and Future Gadgets!
yo so this post is just a little introduction to the plots of my four main stories as requested by y’all :3 I would like to emphasize that my stories are constantly changing (ESPECIALLY WORLD BUILDING ELEMENTS/NAMES OF THINGS) but typically the main storyline stay the same. So keep in mind things on this post might change over time because it is all a work in progress! Thank you for understanding
ghost council
The Ghost Council is a story that follows the 10 main characters on the ghost council as they deal with a break out of what I am for now calling the “Super Six” (which is a stupid name but trust me it the amount of times I’ve explained this and not given them a name it has been super confusing). The Super Six are ancient spirits who have been locked away to prevent taking over the ghost world and turning it into a hell hole. Their motive at the time isn’t well known by anybody, so they keep them locked away in another dimension from which they can’t escape. One night, it is reported that the gate has been opened, letting out the Super Six. As the council investigates, the two people reported to be at the gate are no other than Jökull Arason and Hibiki Ishii, two of the councils most important members. Now the scramble is on to figure out what happened, who did it, and how to get the Super Six contained before they take over their world.
Runaway
One morning Kostya Kotov and Will Bellerose, two brothers as well as business partners, are out on their morning walk in the forest near their village. All of a sudden they are attacked by a ravenous woman- or man? They can’t tell. After the encounter they threaten the two brothers to bring them money or they’ll find them and kill them. What happens after that is a spiral into a situationship between Kostya and the androgynous man in question, Petrov Kuznetsov, as he tries to make his life better despite his troublesome behavior and (unbeknownst to Kostya) criminal activity. Kostya also has to juggle his relationship with his brother as it becomes fragile.
444
This story follows two highschoolers in their senior year, Hamilton Ashmore and Worthen Shoemaker. Worthen is openly flamboyant and seen as extreme by most of their class. Meanwhile, Hamilton is very popular amongst their class but awfully quiet. He is also one of the school’s baseball prodigies. The two are pretty much polar opposites, other than their blonde hair and blue eyes, but is that really the case? Turns out it’s not. After a fight for an introduction they end up making up, kind of. Worthen, being the guy he is gets Hamilton’s number from his sister to bother him. What started as a curiosity emerges into a strange friendship between the two as they attempt to help one another stay alive.
Future Gadgets
Rin Shin’ichi is a rebellious junior at Sacred Springs Highschool (weirdest name ever I’ll probably workshop that later(also younger me had absolutely no awareness for world building)). Picking fights, smoking his lungs to death, skipping classes, cussing out teachers, etc. Despite his reputation, he is an academic genius with a passion for robotics and science. As one of his punishments he is forced to give a guide to a new student, Yuki Wakabyashi (he hates talking to people). He immediately hates her loud, cheerful personality. Meanwhile she takes a special interest in him for his mysterious nature. Yuki begins to follow Rin around to bother him.
Unbeknownst to everybody, Rin isn’t a typical 17 yr old. He is a well known robot assassin under his pin name “I.” He works with two partners, Yuu Hideyo and Tilio Nev, along with his mother, Emy. Each of them have different jobs in their operation, Yuu working the logistics, Tilio as the main tank, Emy as the distraction, and Rin as the engineer.
Over the past ten years there have been robots planted into society as apart of a “cleansing” process of the population. They’re made to be a “superior race” and built to be “perfect.” The goal is to create a perfect society ran by robots and have the people living below them or crafting them to be cyborgs. Of course, the person running this is the exception. Let’s just say he’s a little crazy. In summary: guy trying to start robot apocalypse, rin and his crew trying to stop the robot apocalypse. Upon the general population, this is a crazy conspiracy theory and not thought to be real. But there has been a rise of people dying of mysterious circumstances for the past decade, but many tend to ignore the numbers. A lot of times it is swept under the rug as well.
Last major plot point of this story is honestly a major plot hole because I keep going “ehhh I’ll worry about that later”(pssst, it is now later and you haven’t done anything about it) but basically something will happen where these other rich kids join the plot and Yuki befriends them but Rin doesn’t like them but he’s kinda forced to be around them bc of Yuki but since he is now surrounded by so many people its becoming harder for him to hide his double life due to it taking up 99% of his “free time”

what was the original thought that led to the creation of this character?- I don’t clearly remember tbh- I’m very obsessed with hockey, and I always thought the Russian players had cool last names lol. So I decided I wanted to make a story about two Russian guys, one with long black hair and then one with short blonde hair. Which it is kinda funny looking back at that because now they’re all from made up countries (with real world languages though- I’m not crazy enough to make up my own languages).
what was the first thing you decided on, name, appearance, personality, or role in the story? - Definitely appearance. I specifically wanted him to have long black hair. Over the years the length of his hair has changed a lot though (as in its gotten longer). Also I originally designed him w/ a face scar and heterochromia which he still has. His design hasn’t really changed a lot over the years if I’m being honest.
the reverse of the previous question- It took me forever to decide on his last name. He didn't have one until like...a year ago... It isn’t even an interesting one from a Russian perspective- it’s like the English equivalent of having the last name Smith.
thought process behind their appearance/did you go for an aesthetic/why do they look the way they do? - Uhhhh great question. I always design characters before I make the stories. Of course, his scars are meant to showcase past events in which he has had to fight/been tortured, he is skinny because he’s lived off of little food his whole life, but the hair was just more of an “I want to” decision. Overtime I’ve worked it into his story that he is very attached to his hair; he doesn’t like cutting it. It’s like a coping mechanism for him. As far as clothes I just wanted him to look like an average guy. Not really any aesthetic reasons (but I do like to draw him in fancy outfits :D). Also I wanted to give him a physique that people wouldn't be scared of. Like if you walk up to a dolphin you're like aww look at you but then they rip you to shreds and you're flabbergasted (and dead).
Origin of their personality/how much of it is projecting?- I try to explain this but sometimes I find it very hard… but pretty much all of my characters are me projecting. My OCS are like THE coping mechanism for me. But it isn’t like blatant projecting…it’s in the little things. As far as his personality is he is super aggressive and thats just due to the sheer amount of betrayal he’s been through in his life. He doesn’t really trust anybody anymore, and it causes him to be protective of himself since he is the only person he has. I think with projecting when it comes to Petrov is mainly in the way he misunderstands people and feels the need to be on guard. I’m not as closed in as he is, but I definitely feel that a little in myself. Also in his poor coping mechanisms…shout out to people who are bad at coping regularly. Another thing thats hard to explain is I like making characters that do "bad" things because it prevents me from doing bad things. I also like to take "bad" characteristics and make very exaggerated characters based on those characteristics to kind of experience them through my characters? I don't really know how to explain well lol
are there any existing characters that your character resembles? if so is it a coincidence or not? - Not that I’m aware of. My friend says his personality is like Kaz Brekker from Six of Crows but I’ve never read SOC so I can’t really confirm or deny lol.

he has been the subject of manymanymanyMANY paintings ive done (which I haven't posted a lot of them on here but just trust me on that) and he has probably existed for like four years now? so not my oldest oc by any means
Also I have different favorites depending on my universes too. I have 7 OC worlds/stories and I tend to choose a new one to hyperfixate on for a year then switch it up (not consciously, it just happens) like I think my hyper fixation for this year might be my ghost gang. But if I had to pick a favorite over all of my OC worlds it's definitely my little felon Petrov :]
