What makes you so special that an abstract concept such as Love is out to hurt you? To blame Love for your poor decision in choosing a partner, or a heartbreak, is the lack of personal responsibility. You play the victim and act as though the entire universe is out to get you. What makes you so special that an endless void of planets and stars we have yet to unravel is the cause of all your problems? We’re so much as a spec of existence, the universe wouldn’t notice us to begin with. You blame Love– something that does not have a physical form of itself because you have no one else to blame. Yes, it does not have a physical form of itself, but it is within you and often it’s being expressed without your permission. Through appreciation, through communication, through the random acts of kindness, it’s there. The pain you dwell on has yet to serve it’s purpose because you have yet to let yourself grow. Give yourself time. Allow yourself to heal.
Imagine a scenario where an individual curses the name of God because things didn’t go their way. You’re probably wondering “Why are you blaming him for all of your problems? Do you expect him to get back to you?” Exactly.
