When libraries burned in the wars that passed, the world was focused on surviving, rising again. Penny had once been a teacher of history and magical literature, but in those gray times there was no place for her. Penny then decided to travel the world, recruiting people who want scholarship, and passing on the information she has to future generations, allowing history not to be lost in time. Penny knows the reasons for the wars, and she has faith that with her help she can raise awareness. Will Penny be enough for humans not to repeat the mistakes of the past?

Penny então resolveu viajar pelo mundo, recrutando pessoas que querem a erudição, e passar as informações que tem para as futuras gerações, permitindo que a história não se perca no tempo. Penny sabe os motivos que levaram as guerras a acontecerem, e ela tem fé que com sua ajuda poderá conscientizar as pessoas. Será que Penny será o suficiente para que os humanos não repitam os erros do passado?

(Yesterday I got bored, so I decided to do a little not-so-in-depth character analysis.)

IMO, Mari is Add, Eve and Rose combined.

Mari Ming Ornette from Grand Chase.

How is she Add? She’s a time traveler and is involved in the study of advanced technology. Back when the Kingdom of Kounat was about to collapse, her parents put her in an escape pod so she would be saved from Baldinar’s wrath; but it failed to activate, trapping her inside in hibernation mode. With the help of the demon, Duel, she sailed through time in a coma-like state and woke up hundreds of years later without remembering anything except for her name. She slowly regained her memory back though. Despite not having most of her memories when she joined Grand Chase, her weaponry and knowledge on machines and magic couldn’t be compared to the ones in the present time. Still, she continues on studying and spends most of her time with books and tinkering on anything that can be dismantled. (She’s a precious, curious, awkward child.) Most of her skills involve electricity manipulation and machine combined with magic. Her last job makes use of her Soul Taker, which she controls using her mind. (KOG said they based Add’s Dynamos off the Soul Taker.)

How is she Eve? Mari is the last survivor from Kounat and is the heir to the throne of that ancient Kingdom. She’s basically a Queen. Although Mari isn’t a machine, it’s almost as if she’s one due to her lack of emotions. She has a hard time communicating mostly because she has been alone for a long time and can’t express herself properly. She uses runes, machines, lasers and explosives as her main weapon as she prefers not to fight in close combat. In her second job, Gunslinger, her third active skill makes use of a laser blaster which is carried by two people that resemble Oberon, Eve’s companion. In her third job, Polaris, Mari has a robot companion called KORMET, which attacks in her stead.

How is she Rose? Mari is Rose in her Optimus job. Mari obtained the title Gunslinger in her second job, which is basically a legion of elite fighters. She makes use of Maverick, a gun infused with magic. Aside from the machine summoning skills, Optimus’ skills resemble Mari’s ST skills from the lasers to the explosives. (And most people say Rose is basically the Mari of Elsword.)

So, yeah. Mari is my Queen and forever will be.
