Wyrd Futhark Rune Ring 2024

Elder Futhark Rune Art

Wyrd Futhark Rune Ring was a collection of seven designs scatter-shared March 2020 on various social media platforms and subsequently forgotten within the great Well of Mimir (ie. the internet.)

That was until May 2024, whereupon "Wyrd Futhark Rune Ring - Version 'E' [Red Runes Cycle] originally shared by me on Flickr, was unexpectedly discovered posted upon Vikings and Norse Mythology (Facebook) albeit with a signature removed. To be fair, the Vikings & Norse Mythology re-posting received far more interest than the original.

Following a brief fit of ego-driven pique, WYRD FUTHARK RUNE RING [VERSION 2024] was created (well, this was version 6). The original from Flickr has been included here to perhaps illustrate where a hypothetical personal creative journey began.

Signatures or not, all these designs are shared freely to celebrate inner Spirit(s). Perhaps upon relection, at least one of them found their way home.
