Today I’m releasing a song that means so much to me—“Run Free, Amy.” I wrote this track as a way to process the loss of a childhood friend who, even though life took us in different directions, always held a special place in my heart. Amy was a fighter, a survivor, and a true friend who reached out when I needed her most.
Losing her has left an ache I can’t describe, and I needed to find a way to honor her spirit and the strength she showed us all. This song is my goodbye, my tribute, and my promise that her courage and kindness won’t be forgotten. She deserves at least that much.
