Missy Elliott Releases "Take Away" on airways 10/18/01 following the death of Aaliyah (8/25/01). The CD single is released November 5th 2001. 

The music video was directed by Dave Meyers (who also directed Aaliyah's 'More Than A Woman' music video along with a entire catalog list of other artist he directed for: including, but not limited to, Ginuwine, Lil Wayne, Jay Z, DMX, Creed, P!nk, 69 Boys, Eve and more). 

During Ginuwine's versus, he (along with Elliott) glance at the sight of waterfalls where pictures of Aaliyah are reflecting from the water. 

The video starts with "I dedicate this to Aaliyah who brought life to my music..." The video then ends with, "There will never be a day that you will be forgotten, my guardian angel, Aaliyah. I love you."
