The cherry brunette strolled down the hall, taking a sharp turn towards the captain's office. She paused a beat outside the door. It had been a good month and a half since she left for Siberia, with almost no warning to hand to him. With rapid secession, she pounded on the door, swaying back on her heels. Hopefully he wouldn't be too mad... She'd rather him be happy to see her.
Chris had been missing Jill's presence around base after she abruptly jetted off, truthfully-- but that lament he felt was distracted by his own set of many concerns that had cropped up in the time she'd been gone. When the heavy knock came on the door, he perked up and trotted over to swing it open.
"Jill..!" His reflexive action was to set two big hands on her shoulders and look her over, his silent way of ensuring she was there and safe. He crossed his arms over his chest after, looking at her with a bit of concern.
"Here I always thought I was the one who was bad at communicating. Glad you're back."
