I had a clear destination for my run today and it led me through the city. I mean I live in the city but you know... the *city*. It was like, I love this city, I hate this city, I love this city - you get it.
When I got where I wanted to go - after a few detours because if Berlin is one thing it's the capitol of construction works and road closures - I marveled at the fact that they closed down this huge ass road and me and some others were just running, walking, biking there.
Then! A woman came running toward me and I took my earphones out expecting she wanted to ask me something but she high-fived me and said "good job".
Kept going to look at - but not step foot on cause you can't yet - the huge piece of (artificial) grass they put up in front of the Brandenburger Tor for the Euro 2024 and I had another moment of "I love this place".
Didn't last long but that's how it is 😂
The picture isn't very good, but to give you an impression
