11 March 2019 - The Pentland Hills
On a whim, based somewhat in a chaotic, prophetic dream I had in the early hours of the morning, I decided to go to the Pentlands for my morning run. The Pentlands are a range of hills to the south-west of Edinburgh, and I had never been before! So, I did some minor research, hopped on a bus in Tollcross, and in around 25 min I was out of the city and into the hills! I ran about 4 miles on a road through the hills, and then climbed up a peak (snowy picture) and down the other side (I slipped and fell lol).
Overall, it was an amazing morning in the hills and surprisingly easy transport-wise. I will definitely be going back soon.
31 January 2019 - Frost-laden Edinburgh
Winter has hit Edinburgh with full force! Frost has covered the city, and I had to avoid actually going up Blackford Hill on my run this morning, as to not slip accidentally. I’ve been having to wear two turtlenecks every day to keep warm!

23 April 2019 - South West Coast Path, Cornwall
Now here’s where the pictures of the coast really pick up! In the morning, Hailey and I went on a run/ hike along the South West Coast path, having to stop along the way for many many pictures and ‘oh my god’ moments of ‘can this be real?’. We then, sufficiently sweaty, ran into the sea with our running clothes on to cool off (it was SO cold). We returned to the path (after showering and eating) for a day of painting, drawing, and reading. Basically the perfect day.
