16 week training plan
I am currently trying to put the finishing touches to my 16 week training plan for the 2015 london marathon. At the moment my average week is looking like this;
mon-netball (I'm count this as speed work as i play center for a hour)
tues-5to6 miles with my athletics club
wed-some sort of cross training (stretching/fitness DVD/swimming)
thurs-speed session with my athletics club
fri-not decided maybe a 5 miler for a few weeks then 8 miles
sat-rest
sun-long run (starting at 8 or 10 and working up to 20 or 24, only running 2 more miles than the previous week)
Any views or comments on this plan will be a great help.
