Back to running. Time to blog?
I have intended to start a running blog some time ago. Why? Not simply because I wanted to tell my story, better put - relationship, with running. I want to put that out there along with resources I have come across. And by "that" - I mean not just the training, but personal side of it. (Foreshadowing: I did not grow up athletic or participating in organized sports, which may explain being oft injured.) And by "resources" - articles I have stumbled across, books that I have read, plans that I have tried or have considered trying, exercises, drills, dealing with doctors and physical therapists, exchanges with other runners (or non-runners, or those who run, or insert whatever established or post-modern label here), etc.
I have wanted to blog about various topics in the past, but now, with 2015 NYC Marathon pretty much about 35 weeks away, I figured I focus on this topic of running and training for my first marathon the second time. And along the way, I look thread in my thoughts and insight.
Signed, Dom
