7k Easy & 7k Hills
Last night I ran an easy 7k on the treadmill while watching a new episode of Veronica Mars. I’m LOVING the new season. Topped my run off with a few sprints to start getting the legs ready to move quickly again! Speed training will start next week.
Today I ran a 7k hilly route. It wasn’t my best run. I had a bad day and was in my head a little bit and not really focused on my run. But I got it done and am now going to have a drink or two 🥃
I love running here. It’s so beautiful. And bonus pic of my cute dog.
Right now. #nofilter #running #runningviews #tablemountain #capetown #lighthouse #lagoon #palms #cloudporn
4k Recovery Run
Went on a slow, easy recovery run. Going to try for a long 21k tomorrow, so wanted to get my legs moving a little bit!
Trail running by water hits different. The sound of the river, the fresh mountain air, the views that make you forget you're exercising. Find a trail with scenic water views—it's natural motivation.
There's something special about running where the world drops away beneath you. Mountain trails demand focus, reward patience, and remind you why you started. Pick a path with a view today—your legs will thank you later.
Sometimes the best runs are about the view, not the pace. Find a trail that makes you stop and stare—your legs will thank you, and so will your mind. Where's your favorite scenic route?
