Behold the bounty of our land and what appears to be a 12-legged dog.
The man who built out house apparently spent the last 30 years using the area behind the barn as a dump. This was not immediately obvious when we moved in but after some rain and chicken scratching more and more has appeared at the surface. We tried to smooth out the path from the driveway down the trail into the woods one year and unearthed a bunch of trash too, so some portion of the driveway is also a landfill.
I thought I’d make use of my new found free time and started cleaning but soon realized it was probably more practical to leave it alone and dump a bunch of fill over it.
At least I have all of these cute kids to keep me company!
