big big reminder that high support needs / severe autism / level 3 autism folk aren't very straightforward narrow topic too . we rather big spectrum as well !!! some us need very specific type supports than another some us need multiple caretakers ect !!! and reminder that just because high support needs / severe autism / level 3 autism person learn to do or can do a task independently doesn't mean theyre lower needs now.

i know level 3 autistic guy with severe cognitive impairment who can unload and load dishwasher by self, set plates on table for meals and wash body most well independently but with supervised in the room for safety, but that dont make his support needs and autism level lower he still cant take care of himself by own, cant go out home by self, cant shop by self, cant drive, doesn't understand stuff same level others do, still need that carer for life.

so please remember autistic people who high need level 3 severe ect not monolith too we are all different, different interests, different abilities, different ways of supports too!!

let's normalise autistic people who cant infodump way others can. cant share anything chronological/right/understandable order, have special interest but not capacity remember lots information, needs search up to share information correct about what want say, cant type paragraphs up about maybe sentence or two at time, watches interest media over over over again but still cant tell indepth stuff about so, or cant even describe it without support

people supposedly support autistic people who have communication difficulty communication impairment until someone like me join question. always. thats how seem online to me many spaces happen tumblr happen discord happen other places places which meant be targetted for autistic people.

suddenly when someone like me who severe communication impairment with how express how grammar "bad" grammar "unreadable" grammar "confusing" grammar "done wrong" how "questionable grammar 'choice' " with how may use opposite word to mean becus brain unreliable how sentence especially when want explain want share more come off "backwards" have lots repetitions suddenly all this and more have suddenly thats wrong suddenly not okay not acceptable must change must not have. suddenly people tell me maybe what i want say should be reviewed first for sake others suddenly people say maybe should have someone say not me.

but how is fair for someone like me? why expected that just cause severe impairment from autism have with intellectual disabillity also why expected am not allowed express from own brain and should let others change what say. sometimes do ask close friend help me vocabulary or give explanation. but thats different. thats me want need help and deem want it and need it then but what am suppose let all speak entirely for me cus am disabled in way too severe too not nice too uncomfortable for others? i dont push other disabled person away in conversation cus they express different how is fair that done someone like me?

wanted say currently uk be extremely power hungry, extremely irresponsible, ignorant and risk data leak with whole "safety act" restriction and way identify age.

first censorship NEVER good. NEVER. any form censorship not good. government claim "protect" children kids teens ect this way and how social media big impact mental health and pornography. yeah no, yes social media can affect badly person, but this upto ADULT GUARDIAN at home help child navigate things!!! not government job. also teens WILL and have proven access things technically shouldn't access, people breaking through paywalled sites, applications, all like, you name.

government been blocking off things deem too inappropriate, all know how this go. things not even pornographic related have been blocked. self harm support subreddits been blocked, mental health support related social media spaces, the like.

but want raise point haven't seen pointed out about whole thing going on yet with way use verification systems here. one thing which have mention others, EVERYONE impacted by this law, not just teens kids children, EVERYONE. but want note!

adults with conditions which affect development of bodily features, adults with physical difference, adults that survivors of accidents or attacks which needed surgeries for face.

all those impacted by whole ai scan tech!!! all impacted, everyone impacted, especially those with features that stand out from generic standard.

so so so many negative impacts uk government done here. so so so many.

am honestly sick sick sick tired EXHAUSTED seeing aspie supremacy and all this neurotype supremacy from mild / low need disabled / autistic people. no neurodivergent people arent superior to neurotypical people. no autistic people arent better to allistic people. no neurodivergence isnt miracle or gift or some genetic advantage. there is NO neurotype and or ableness superiority based on these factors. stop placing yourselves as better good people because you have (low needs) autism. youre not better good people because youre autistic. aspie supremacy is rooted from what hans asperger, a nazi, believed. calling those with aspergers (or low need autism) as superior and the good ones whilst the high(er) needs ones were seen as utter nothing, to honestly put so lightly cus it gets way nastier than that simple description. your whole supremacist ideology follows exactly that because in your narrative you ignore and dimish the reality of the more severely disabled.

"iq is flawed" iq is this iq is that yadda yadda yadda number doesn't mean anything bla bla bla. no. stop share and place unasked opinions coming from uneducated ignorant standpoint. iq testing intellectual disability very specifically done, if have some sort flaw, sure, kind of everything within psychiatry have flaw, system flawed, doesn't invalidate importance of iq this situation. and YES the number does matter!!!! correspond severity intellectual disability have! how severe impair!!! it's important. if wasn't needed wouldn't be different numerical scaling for so.

i really dislike what the term neurodivergent has turned into. i dont think term neurodivergent is at fault itself, i think it is as term good term to describe " other than neurotypical " essentially.

but what people have done with the term has done lot damage imo and continue do so. people use neurodivergent to mean autism and or adhd which i feel like in turn has feeded peoples confusion how some conditions are neurodivergent and them believing some things cant be called that and how since the term has been used in very specific but at same time meaningless misinformed ways.

which this in turn, in my opinion might also fed this whole idea people have that autism and adhd are same disorders and theyre so so same when they far from same just looking at criteria itself.

" neurodivergent people do this " " this is trait of neurodivergents " " neurodivergent people think this way " "neurodivergent people act like this because of this " all these type statements dont make sense. as neurodivergent is term for wide range conditions autism adhd dyslexia dysgraphia down syndrome alzheimers borderline personality disorder synesthesia dyspraxia narcissistic personality disorder. so on and on and on.. just examples but see how with examples can tell range is so far? you cant say neurodivergent people do this and this as blanket truth statement as it consists of all these ways brain function that arent same thing at all.

if you mean autism say autism. if you mean adhd say adhd. if you mean dyslexia say dyslexia. if you mean schizophrenia say schizophrenia! cant say that autism criteria symptom is what neurodivergent means, when you trying spread awareness you wont spread it well by making vague video post text slide whatever by lumping all these different condition traits into one blob, sometimes, even including things that arent even considered an actual autism trait at all, when thats what you trying to talk about without using word autism but "neurodivergent" instead.
