Her wings in Mythix???? Flat out gorgeous. They look like layered flames and I love them so much, I wish they were on a better transformation in a better written season
Her dress is the least offensive to my eyes, with some mild visual interest. The arm warmers are cute. It looks so ugly in 2d but in 3d it's tolerable, that shade of blue and purple are pretty together. Over all I love her color palette and wings, and I do not see the rest of it
2) Flora
I am OBSESSED with her wings. Like they TRULY have a vibe I'd associate with the name Mythix. They look old and worn, with the holes in them, but still powerful. Like an ancient set of wings Flora got for herself, and it's such a cute visual
Flora being covered in a petal dress is lazy but easily the least egregious because she is the fairy of nature so it at least matches her personality and powers
3) Tecna
TENCA'S WINGS ARE WEIRD AGAIN!!! NOW MAKE THEM WEIRDER!!!!! I love how geometric they are they look so strange, perfect perfect perfect
Her heels are also metallic which is sufficiently weird
Tecna would literally never wear that dress however, at least it's pointy, but it's a complete flop on the weird scale. Make it weirder. Make it cyber. Make it Tecna
4) Aisha
Why is she a red head again. Well with Wow and s8 I think we know why
Anyways her wings are ready mid. They kinda look like a plant and I'm physically restraining myself from saying anymore about that. Her heels are weird in a fun way, and she has what looks like an ice skaters dress on?? I have no clue why they put Aisha in that but whatever. It's better than Flora's dress, win
5) Stella
Her wings are almost good but I hate the shape of them. The colors are gorgeous though

Final thoughts on season 6 despite my better judgment
Okay so this piece of shit has a few good things in it so we'll start with that. It's going to be a very short list, so it won't take too long before we get into the meat and potatoes
Things I liked about S6:
Icy's, Darcy's, and Stormy's dynamic in this season is actually peek. After s5 I was extremely hesitant to see how these three would be written, but it's actually great! They are extremely sibling towards each other, and the way they bully each other after failures is super cute
While I don't like the fashion in this season, tying it all back to Stella's love of fashion and having her passion come though is really cute and makes me wish that the winx were allowed to pursue their interests independently
The Legendarum in concept. I like the idea of stories in a book being animated with magic and going into pocket dimensions. I just like that, it was a fun way to immediately get into a new set piece
The dark witch forms. They had a very Salem energy that I absolutely loved
The specialists new outfits. They are finally wearing armor, Godspeed
The specialist's new weapons. They have weapons that can be relevant in a fight, they're not, but like they could be. Tbh they're already using magic weapons, having magic effects on the weapons was a long time coming
Miele. She's cute and she gets to be a badass and save Flora and be saved by Flora they are so cute 🥺🥰
How Flora got her Bloomix. Is it derivative of s3? Yes, this entire season is a worse season 3 except they don't have the balls to do anything half as cool as the Enchantix sacrifice. Is it cute to see Flora save Miele without her powers??? Yes!
Getting to see other magic schools do indeed exist, that was definitely fun
How the Musa/Riven arc ended. Like literally just the final episode of it where Riven left. That's the only good part of that arc and BOY IS IT GOOD. S4 gave me poisoning and this episode fixed it. Riven fear of not being able to help Musa against enemies, and him doing introspection without being smacked into it (I'm looking at you s3-4, he can do it on his own) is everything to me
Diaspro not being plot integral this season thank God, s5 was enough late season Diaspro. She's the fairy of the dragon flame, therefore fire is good for her was also a hysterical ass line
The trix disguising themselves as freshmen and going on trips with the Winx was funny, though why the fuck were they're only there freshmen I hate it here
Selina poisoning Flora has got to be the Selina and Bloom highlight, very cunning on Selina's end, and Blooms look of horror was peek
The vampires are really funny, but the zombie pirates were hilarious
The fun way they twirl the mythix wands sometimes, mythix can get so silly sometimes and it's super cute
Aisha and Nebula, they are so cute
Tecna and Timmy's fun raft adventure
Helia struggling with Flora's evil plants
Riven howling like a wolf, now bark like a dog boy
The werewolf fight in general was funny and entertaining
Icy vs Flora was emotional and action packed and very good! I loved that nature itself helped Flora recover
The elite girlies of CT fighting eachother and training was always cute
Timmy impressing Tecna's parents was cute
Stormy going mad with power in the Legendarum as Frankenstein's bride

Things I disliked about S6:
Daphne was characterized so badly here. She's nothing. She might as well have been sleeping beauty of the winx world and her personality would have been the same. There's absolutely no hint of the all powerful Nymph that's literally chiseled into the walls of buildings to commemorate her achievements. Now she's just clumsy, not as strong as the Winx, and is good at history. That's nothing. You could literally replace her with an entirely different character in this season and that would probably make more sense
Special mention to how Daphne is condescended in the beginning of this season. Why'd they do that to her
The beast of the depths. You literally made that one up for this season. It's very obvious that none of this was planned ahead of time nor are they even pretending that they give a shit about the timeline. Set it on fire.
The parties. The parties. The parties. Oh my god the parties. Anytime literally anything happens there's a completely useless party attached to it. Instead of developing literally ANY of the EXTREMELY underdeveloped subplots, they write in two billion fucking parties. I am tired
The fashion in this season is ugly, out of character, and has zero personality. Like. I feel like they were dressed by an AI, fucking randomly generated ass outfits. Terrible layering, over use of colors, and it's like they're always wearing outfits in the same fashion line. They never look like they own their own damn clothes, everything they wear is matching. It's like there's a hive mind, while yes I appreciate the incorporation of Stella's desire to be a fashion designer having them never wear their own clothes just makes them feel flat, like they don't exist outside of eachother
The pixies were more redundant and annoying than ever
Cloud tower being taken over in s1 was cool, it was meh in s3, and it's just plain boring and nothing in s6. Stop doing this over and over again I stopped caring the second time. "Oh well this time we'll make the school flying AND invisible." I hate you
The Legendarum as it was written. I swear to God it could have just been called the plot device machine, it just does whatever the writers want it to do
I just realized how did the pixies survive in the Legendarum that long???? Griffin literally flip flops her morals in this season again too, are you okay with tormenting sentient creatures or not please pick one
Why on earth did the witches of Cloud Tower support the Trix???? Why make witches in this show even more one dimensional. As well as the Trix's elite students weren't even memorable, this was more interesting when s3 did it with the mind controlled witches because they had to find why they were acting like that

Nex is like. A bitch. He acts like s1 Riven but with less self esteem and paranoia issues. Like Riven is a self absorbed asshole who hates himself and who had an arc realizing that punishing everyone away was bad and that he needed to learn to trust, Nex is just a self obsessed asshole with a desire to embarrass and put people down, even being willing to actually injure them over stupid ass contests. Even when being manipulated by Darcy Riven was never that aggressive, he mostly just gossiped and did dragon fighting. Nex is literally a more dickish, aggressive, self obsessed, competitive, and uncaring, Riven. And you want to convince me that AISHA, AISHA "who said you were driving?" WOULD PUT UP WITH THAT SHIT ARE YOU KIDDING ME????
Literally everyone and their mom can steal powers in this season, it's so fucking easy it means nothing
Remember how in s2 there was a large amount of focus on the not Bloom main character because the main characters of Winx were the WINX CLUB and not Bloom, remember how s3 had a lot of focus on the not Bloom characters. S6 wants you to remember that Bloom is the most important specialest baby in the world and doesn't care that there's other main characters. Fuck narrative balance and giving the cast a chance to shine outside of Bloom I guess, Bloomix is a thing

What stated the Riven/Musa arc this season, like at the beginning he's just dismissive and overly competitive, it's only towards the end he says hes doing this because he wants to be able to help Musa. They should have written him like that the entire time

I love the hair! I love different shades of blue??? The dark blue looks so good on her, and I'm absolutely obsessed with the straight up red hair. Her hairstyle fucks too, Bloom loves her braids fr fr. The scale pattern armor FUCKS severely, but the purple and magenta gems kinda suck ass ngl

2) Musa
I hate literally everything going on with the weird solid pink thing at the bottom, but it still looks amazing. She IS the moment. I wish the pinks were maybe blues? Her outfit could use some cold colors aside from her hair. While this is nothing I could imagine s1-3 Musa genuinely wearing it looks good

3) Stella
Stella looks like a sunset and I LOVE!! The shawl, the colors, the armor, the wings, the everything it's like a sun set!!! I wish there was more blue, and not ice blue?? Like use a cyan or something, but her hair. But the hair. I've been getting use to to it but I hate it. I'm always obsessed with Stella in purple so this, I love the magenta
4) Flora
Oof, those wings. Poor girl. And that top?? Helppppp. The shawl looks the best on her tho tbh, and her flower skirt + vine heels combo is cute. I like the flowers on her heels and in her hair, love seeing new hairstyles for Flora she looks so great. Her crown also looks so cute and personalized, love love. The heart leaf print on her leggings is so fucking adorable. Just that top, why??
5) Aisha
Aisha looks?? Fine. I hate the boob armor. They put literally zero effort into her wings and leggings. Her shawl is unique and interesting. They somehow decided that she needed to have lighter, nearly ginger, hair and with s8 I can only assume that's with bad intentions. Her wrist cuffs look super cool, her skirt looks awful, the collar of her top looks amazing, she has two weird tiny ass forward facing ponytails on the front of her head that I SWEAR no one else has noticed. It's solidly mid and not Sirenix
Please note that the TWO times they've changed Aisha's hair color for a transformation they made her blonde and a red head
6) Tecna
They put Tecna who wore a full body suit in magic winx when everyone else was wearing crop tops and mini skirts in a sweater, a UGLY sweater with an evil neckline at that, in the armor transformation???? The disrespect! Also they gave the fuck up on her wings

At least the legging patterns are nice, like the heels too, the shawl is basically a worse version of Aisha's and I can't decide if I love or hate the hair but I'll take it

5) Fairy Mirta
I had to dock points because in no way for those look like magic Winx wings, girl why do you have Enchantix gloves, but they are really really really pretty. They remind me of the Sophix and Lovix wings but in the magic Winx style. If Charmix had its own transformation wings, this is what they'd look like
6) Tressa
I really like her wings as they have like a flying fish vibe to them, but like it's implied by the show that mermaids just have wings. They don't like, transform or anything. They just have them, and that's always confused me and weirded me out because it implies that either all mermaids are faries and are transformed 24/7 or the exact opposite that no mermaid can be a fairy and just have this low level magic always around them that can't be changed. It's really weird to me, why does she have wings all the time??
7) Roxy
Is she a Believix fairy or a magic Winx fairy?? And why couldn't the designers fucking commit to one aesthetic?? Who fucking knows
8) Priscilla
While I had to dock major major point because with her outfit her wings are just kinda annoying and push the whole outfit into overly tacky territory, the fact that they made her wings look like leaves without making them one boring shape makes me happy enough to put up here. The line looks like a leaf vein! And the point makes it look like a jagged leaf! Why did they refuse to put any detail inside of Flora's wings—
9) Nebula
While they are by no means badly designed wings, as far as winx wings go they communicate nothing about her or her strength (this includes all the major faries). They look more like the Lovix and Sophix wings than Enchantix. Like?? They imply that the Major faries have their own personal transformation that the Winx have never heard of but this is not explained?? And I'm still annoyed about it

Her boots are actually connected to her jumper, which is super pretty and fashion and surprisingly practical for her. She's covered in little fashion belts, she has a little harness (!!!!!!), and reinforcements on her outfit. Her earrings match, which I don't think was a priority but it's amazing anyways, and most of all she's wearing a shirt underneath the protective material, likely for fashion reasons because it really does tie the whole look together
Not a single aspect of this outfit is slipping, and I love it so much
Riven: Even without a voice, you put on the most amazing concert. You saved Alfea. I just wish I could be half as remarkable as you. I wasn't able to save your voice, and I couldn't be there for you once it was gone. You deserve better
You know what???? From on this has got to be genuinely the best late season Riven arc. I'm not even doing a bit or anything. S6 is genuinely selling me on their breakup as a mutual and healthy thing and Riven wanting to reflect and grow to be a better person for both himself and Musa. I WISH THEY SPENT MORE TIME ON THIS ARC INSTEAD OF PARTIES AND SKY'S RANDOM COUSIN
Everyone was warning me about s6 Riven, which is fair I'm sobbing and throwing a tantrum or whatever, but now that they're genuinely expanding on WHY he's acting like this and giving him motivation is really good. I wish he was like this from the beginning instead of just blowing Musa off for his boomerang. Like if this was the direction his arc was written from at the start I would have been all over it
Like s4 was annoying because Musa was rewritten to act more like the rest of the winx, s5 was annoying because despite giving me a lot of cute moments it was just dumb and didn't care about character, this however while being written in a way that doesn't make sense for his later motivation, could be genuinely a amazing arc AND character congruent. Seriously just like take out all the being the best stuff and over competitiveness that was smacked out of his head in s1, let him still be attentive when it really matters and just DROWN him in self worth issues and I would be yelling about s6 Riven the way I constantly cry over how much I love s2 Riven
Like you can still have them break up too! Id cry about it, not to mention kicking him off the show and making him do character development off screen robs the audience of a character arc, but like being there only when some shit is seriously going down isn't enough!! You should be continuously present obviously. This wouldn't stop that from happening!! Not to mention Riven doesn't fucking talk about stuff!! I love s2 Riven, he's genuinely trying his best but he doesn't say anything about Darcy until he's absolutely sure what the plan of action would be! He clearly doesn't like telling people about things when they're in the process of going down, so he probably is only going to mention this kind of stuff when Musa really presses him on it because he would want to get to a level hes proud of THEN tell Musa after it's already over
Oh my god this is how I felt watching the s1 final with Riven, when I stopped hating him.... God okay, S6 takes ONE win with how the second half of the Riven arc is CURRENTLY being handled. It's giving me ALL the thoughts and feelings about him
Ranking the girlies wings up to Harmonix: 🐉 Bloom 🐉
1) Enchantix
One of my favorite wings in the whole show. Out of all the girls, Bloom's wings have the least intrusive wing membrane color and I personally really like it. It ties into the warmth of her gloves and bow without being hugely noticable and distracting. Bloom's Enchantix Wings also has my top two dangle decorations, and the curl is super adorable. Very beautiful
2) Magic Winx
Over all good but the fact that the wings are flat with a design inside has have always seemed less cool than Aisha's wings. It's simple and cute like her magic winx
3) Sophix
I think Bloom's wings benefit from the lack of the Believix over designing the most. She just looks kinda cute here, her down to earth vibe not being over powered by Believix's need to be the most ever all the time. She looks more dorky and sweet and I like it
4) Harmonix
I don't have many strong opinions on her Harmonix wings, but they do feel under designed compared to everyone else's. Bloom's wings look the most like one layer, along with Stella's, while everyone else got cool multi layer wings. Aside from that they look like moth wings to me, especially because the dark pink dash dots look like eyes, which I think is really cool
5) Lovix
I think the Lovix wings are too low key for Bloom, and especially for this outfit. Instead of coming off as understated like Sophix, it just kinda looks boring
6) Believix
The top half of Bloom's upper wings always looked like they were barely being held on, but like that part doesn't bother me all that much. What bothers me is OH MY GOD WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON WITH HER BOTTOM WINGS???? STOP THAT NOW!!!! STOP IT!!! YOU LITERALLY JUST PUT A GRADIENT AND NOTHING ELSE ARE HER PITIFUL ASS BOTTOM WINGS!! WHY??? WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT?? IT LOOKS FUCKING TERRIBLE AND I CAN'T STOP NOTICING IT
Ranking the girlies wings up to Harmonix: ☀️ Stella 🌙
1) Enchantix
Ok so like, they'res layers to this. This placement was the one that I was struggling the most with. Something about knowing that the purple is supposed to be pink, and knowing for sure because if you look at season 4 Enchantix where they try to make everything more on model they make it pinker, bothers me so much. Like it usually looks purple, and I like that, but when her wings are together or on a pale background you can tell
Aside form that slightly dip in sanity, and ignoring what the wings are supposed to look like, I really like these wings. Like, the dark blue and purple make her wings look like they're holding the night sky in them. Which is the second biggest moon reference in any of Stella's transformations right after her Charmix bag, and I really appreciate that. I wish they used two different shades of blue (ice and dark) but like?? It looks night contained in the sun with the yellow frame. Really really pretty
2) Believix
I think Stella has the best out of the classic Believix wings. (Bloom, Stella, Flora, and Tecna having classic Believix wings. Musa and Aisha having the nonstandard ones.) I feel like this is what they were going for, and Stella has the big ass personality to bit these big ass wings. The Believix aesthetic has slowly been growing on me after seeing Harmonix and Sirenix, and Stella really feels one of the most at home in the look. Especially with the wings. Though, I wish there were suns and moons in her wings instead of stars and quietly pretending her moon powers don't exist. Acknowledge the moon!!!!!
3) Lovix
While these wings are a little under designed compared to other Lovix wings, I really enjoy the aesthetic going on with them. The gem placement is probably the best right after Tecna's and Flora's, and the soft oranges and yellows don't look underwhelming like everyone else's pastel wings. They look like the golden hour but compressed into wings, which really matches with Stella's powers. Especially the golden hour during winter, they match the Lovix aesthetic amazingly
4) Magic Winx
I really like them. They're simple, as magic Winx wings are, without being boring or lacking detail, and the prong shapes remind me of a sun. Which matches Stella's magic winx very well. They're cute, and subtly communicate about her powers. Very good
5) Harmonix
Much like Bloom's these wings look under designed, and unlike Bloom there's really nothing that catches my eye with these. They kinda look like stained glass, which is really pretty but a lot of Harmonix wings look like stained glass. It's a very underwhelming set of wings
6) Sophix
These Sophix wings are so basic it physically pains me. Stella and basic are not words that should go together, and yet
