Now, some lore. I miss adding it to posts. Idk why I stopped.
Vitalix is the transformation of the Luminous Dragon, the transformation represents their preservation of life. Once the holder’s heart is in resonance with the Dragon’s Truth, they will be granted the ability to protect. Their heart must strive to protect the living and fight with all their strength for the Flame to spark, and they will be granted glistening armor. As the new torch of the Dragon’s Truth, they will go forward as the dimensions preserver and granted with their predecessor’s strength.
Most have never seen Vitalix, in part due to the Dragon’s Flame staying inside the kingdoms of Domino. Oftentimes, it’s used as a way to gauge whether the holder is ready to become a nymph, as it’s seen as them and the Luminous Dragon becoming one.
The Winx are holders out of the ordinary, as they hold fragments of the original Flame. By the rules instated by the first Nymphs of Domino, they should never have been given it. The flame should have never been split up, yet Bloom gave them a spark of it to free their own magic. When news that Flora had obtained Vitalix arose, it caused a stir among the current nymphs. Many started to question if it was wise to keep Bloom as the current holder.
As mentioned, Flora is the first to obtain it, earning after saving Miele and the other students of Lynphea’s college from the treants. She puts herself between them to distract the treants and give the students a way out, putting herself at risk for the sake of others’ wellbeing.
Stella and Aisha are next to earn theirs, earning it while defending students from the basilisks. Stella put behind her fears and lack of magic to help Aisha, and Aisha ignored her physical well being aside to draw the basilisks’ attention away from younger students and eventually leading them to attack each other.
Musa and Tecna earn theirs while cornered by the pandemonium sprites. Between their goal to protect the students of Melody’s college and the preservation of the Golden Auditorium, it causes them to obtain it. They were fully willing to work together and face them despite their lack of magic and the fact they were cut off from the rest of the group.
Bloom is the last to earn it, when she’s thrown into the Vortex of Flames. She’s thrown in by a fire eater due to her weakened state and inability to protect herself. Her sister Morea follows after her to save her, but due to the intense heat and origin of the fire within the Vortex, her wings are damaged, leading her to fall with Bloom. Between the guilt and fear, her desire to protect Morea causes her to obtain Vitalix, giving her the strength to save her and rise from the Vortex.
Bloom has had several chances in the past to obtain Vitalix. Between all the fights from Valtor to Tritannus, she’s had the chance. During the final fight with Valtor, she was on the verge, yet her own doubt kept her from it. She wasn’t sure if she was fighting because of her own desire to do so or because it was expected of her. Her heart was unable to fully resonate with the Flame until Morea was in danger and she’s able to cast her doubt aside. She does have a duty to protect others, but she’d want to whether she has the flame or not. The Dragon’s Flame does not define her or her fate, her actions are her own.
