Rusprus headcanon: Ivan has a dacha in the countryside and just like any self-respecting Russian, takes great care of the garden. He grows fruit and vegetables that he turns into jams, but he also cultivates flowers. There is a small spot in the garden dedicated solely to cornflowers — he is always very careful, so they are healthy and grow well. This mini-cornflower garden is there for Prussia. Prussia is not really into flowers, but he loves cornflowers and enjoys looking at them. Russia always cuts some for him and puts them in little bouquets.
This is not the first cornflower-garden he made for Prussia, pretty much every-time he lived in a bigger place with a garden and a winter garden, he would have those small cornflower rows growing somewhere on the premises. When his and Prussia's political situation was bad, he would keep them secret, growing his cornflowers in a hidden spot, a tiny cornflower secret garden.
