idk if you've seen the Countdown trailer that just came out but I'm having a really hard time taking Jensen seriously in that setup. Maybe the show will surprise us but as of right now, yeah no. All I see and hear is a mix of Dean, Beau, and Russell with a touch of Soldier Boy.

And perhaps this is an unpopular opinion but I recently watched Rust. Apart from what happened with that movie and how it most likely traumatized him, and I respect his decision, I do think that role would have served him better if Josh's performance in the role and the script is anything to go by. I might be wrong but I feel like that may have opened the doors for him that he's looking to open. Just my opinion.

Sorry, that's ALL Dean. I don't see any of the other characters there. If that works for him, fine, but it's nothing new. At least he still has a job and is getting paid, which is more than most actors can say.

Jensen's mentioned that playing a cowboy has been a dream and I feel bad that his dream was dashed by such a shit show of a production that allowed for such a tragedy to happen. Hopefully, he'll get another chance someday.

If Jensen decides to not attend the upcoming Convention. That's okay and we should support him.

If Jensen decides to attend the upcoming Convention, do NOT under any circumstances even slightly bring up the tragedy or Rust in general. Don't offer condolences. Don't ask questions about it. If he attended it's likely to keep his mind off things so don't be the jerk that makes him relive it on stage.

That's so heartbreaking that the same location could be so tragic in one case and so joyful in another, but beautiful all the same. I can't believe it's been two years, already.

I believe Halyna's husband gave the go-ahead for them to finish the film, and while the charges may be filed, the justice system is slow and they'll still have time to finish it, if they still want to. Though, I suspect it may only be Alec returning. Hannah certainly won't, and I'm not sure about Dave.

I know her husband gave the go ahead for filming to finish, but the whole thing still doesn't sit right with me. There's an on going court case, and a woman was killed, yet money seems to talk louder, and it's callous.

I'm not sure anything would sit right except for a complete scrapping of the project and an acceptance of accountability from any cast/crew/executives directly involved.

They're making a Rust documentary about the shooting to release with the film? Wow. Hollywood really is full of ghouls.

I don't disagree about the ghouls part, but it sounds like the documentary will be more about Halyna and less about the shooting.

I think the callous part here is announcing the documentary in the same announcement that they have a new cinematographer and Rust filming will resume. If they really wanted the documentary to focus on Halyna, and not her shooting, they would have submitted separate press releases, preferably separated by a few weeks.

Ah, I hadn't seen Radio Company's new promo.

While I appreciate their attempt to get permission and give credit where credit is due, the fact that there are still some unknown photographers and a lack of credit to them is, unfortunately, really starting to feel on-brand rather than the exception.

And yes, it's surprising how many things have come out today that leave a sour taste in the mouth regarding projects that Jensen is involved with. I was feeling kind of behind by not posting much Jared content lately, but I'm starting to think that calm and quiet are good things.
