Very Unusual Vintage Lipstick Sterling Silver Box, With Doors and Hinges With Hallmark

For just $39.99 A difficult task in trying to determine the use of this box. Both doors have hinges and doors can be open, inside could be used for lipstick or other cosmetics. Stamped Sterling with a hallmark which we can't determined, appears to be the letters ROE. In very good original conditions. Probably mid century or earlier. Weights 17.7 grams.
