LMAOOOO the rvb art from this blog is VERRY old but yeah I go here. I’m a freak about the new trailer rn HEHE <3

I stopped watching RvB after season 15. It felt so different from the show I fell in love with and I really didn’t like the direction the season was going in. I want to try RvB Zero but I’ve also seen a lot of negativity surrounding it. Is it really as bad as people are saying?

Depends on what you like about the show. I would say for someone who stopped at s15, dont watch. Its a completely different show IMO. The only things that connect Zero to OG RvB are halo, action, wash, lina, and tucker. Other than that, the comedy, characters, tone, music, animation, etc are incredibly different. It’s not absolutely terrible - its what youd imagine from a starting cast: pacing issues, some VA stuff that’s off, a little trying a bit hard - but the issue is it doesnt feel like RvB at all.

Im a person that initially disliked s15 too, but after the Shisno Arc was completed, found myself liking it much better. Now Temple and the Grif and Simmons arc are some of my favorite scenes. S16 is still bad for me, but, to be VERY honest as a long time fan S17 felt the most RvB that RvB has been in a while. Even with the components of S16 (the gods and shit) it felt so much… snappier, dialogue driven, comedic, and heartfelt. Lot of good character moments - especially for donut - in there. Only issue is Simmons labyrinth.

That being said for you, Id say… hm. No. But maybe try episode 1, see if youre curious, then maybe try ep 2-3. If youre not into it by then I highly doubt you’ll make it to the end without being kind of disheartened. Especially by Tucker’s appearance.

It's a tie between S15 and S16. I really didn't vibe with either of them. S17 is on thin fucking ice too. >_>

There aren't any characters that I dislike per-say, just ones that I don't care about all that much. Like Jax and Huggins.

19.) A character you didn't like before that you like now?

Ok fun fact: I actually really didn't like Locus the first time I watched the Chorus Trilogy. I thought he was a cool character, but I was also rooting for the Reds and Blues to kill him lol. And now he's straight up one of my favorite characters from the show.

Also Tucker. Thank you Chorus Trilogy for giving my boy the character development he deserved.

Rvb has lots of different villains though, with a bunch of different motivations

Personally I think the evilest rvb character was the corrupt CEO/military guy who was orchestrating a planet wide genocide so he could steal the valuable alien relics the planet had

My favourite villain (not including Wash the identity stealing shooter kidnapper) is probably O'malley, he's kinda evil for the sake of being evil but he's very fun 😄

Felix loves foxes! He sees it as his spirit animal

Felix is such a meme. To piss off Locus and Siris, he joins the university recorder choir. He even gets a solo (that little bab)

He definitely knows how to skateboard. He’s been complaining to UNSC to invent hoverboards so he can board around the battle field

He has tattoos. Depending on the AU, they vary, but their locations usually remain the same. He has something across his shoulder blades, one on his bicep, wrist, and ankle.

I like to think that Felix has a soft spot, in any AU. He has a very hard exterior but deep down he does have a heart. But depending on the AU and story, the size of his heart changes.

Going off earlier, in certain AU’s Felix owns pet foxes!

Felix collects knives. Most of them he’ll never use but he likes showing off his collection and seeing people freak out at the size of it lol

Hmmm, probably Sigma. Partly because he's fucked up and evil but also because he's voiced by Elijah Wood and it's so funny that they got him to VA for RvB.
