you know i had this stupid idea that after graduation instead of going to college we’d both move to new york you were this writer and I’d be this musician and we’d both live in like the east village or something just doing our thing :) pretty sure the east village doesn’t exist anymore. where are betty and veronica in this scenario? they’re roommates on park avenue :) ……….no but seriously jug if you stay on this path you’re gonna end up in jail :( or WORSE than jail :(

s1 lesbian veronica and s1 gay jughead my god they are soooo very closeted and so very lesbian and gay. this of course carries into later szns but the potency is so strong in s1. putting on their little normal masks and playing their respective roles in the social hierarchy while believing there is smth inherently wrong and different about them that sets them apart from everyone else (father slash family related, unable to escape the shadow and bad connotations of their family’s names and reputations) and viewing their best friends as the paragon of Good (which ofc has nothing to do with them being in love with said best friends. lol). as s6 jughead once said what are we if not counterparts to betty and archie? but ofc they also have too much going on to think about All That

forgot to make note of this as it was unfolding but i did love season 3 lesbian veronica’s saga of enjoying her time with reggie when they’re casually dating/he’s giving up all his free time to work at her bar and help her with her mafia family shenanigans but then balking and getting very emotionally distant and essentially breaking things off and demoting reggie to Paid Employee when he says he wants to take things to the next level by being Actual Business Partners. to quote her abuelita no one walks on water in my place but me!!
