Keith/Lotor; Rated T. Gift fic for TereziMakara in the @lionswap exchange. Authors are revealed, so I can claim the blame this one now. You don’t know how much I agonized trying to stay chill about this fic after S4 just... happened to this ship. :’)

Keith/Shiro; Rated G. A little fluff for @opaldelight​ for reasons, and also because space phones exist and if you think Keith wouldn’t call Shiro from the other side of the universe as soon as he possibly could to make fun of Voltron On Ice, idk what to tell you.

I’ve had this scene in mind for almost two years now, this quiet, two-left-feet little dance of theirs -since at least the original an axiom of reducibility ficlet post. Opal helped me conceptualize what I was seeing there, and her lovely art made it look better than I’d ever imagined it. I can’t thank you enough for how sweet this came out. ❤

It’s been a hell of a journey for these two, and things often looked pretty dark, but in the end I hope they did find those Happy, Happy Times.

tbh I'm sitting square in the 50/50 zone of it's shiro/it's a clone because there's solid reasons to believe both and neither but IF he's a clone then he's still A shiro if not The shiro and I'm here for all shiros needing love and tea and a flower crown and 27 years in therapy so be kind to him 🙇 pls

"keep writing even though you know what you're writing is shit, you're gonna fix it on the second pass so keep going" is one of the hardest motivation mechanics to pull through because while, yes, you know you're gonna clean this mess later so it doesn't matter that it's shit right now, you still know to yourself that what you're writing right now is shit, ya feel? and the whole time you're fighting against the urge to edit, edit, edit, your whole body is screaming stopp.... cease your shit typing immediately and turn yourself over to the bad writing police.... desist "keep going" but *looks over That Mess* at this rate am I sure I actually want to 😏;;;

Just because he didn’t go through what Shiro did doesn’t mean he doesn’t deserve a rest. I am…concerned.

Yeah this is where I sort of wobble between one concept and the other, because... even if he is a clone, this Shiro did go through everything Shiro has, right? He has Shiro’s memories (from the flashbacks when he’s dying in the pod) and Shiro’s emotional connections and traumas, so we get to that “measure of a man” dilemma - even if all his memories are planted, they are still part of who he is and what shapes him, so is he not a person too?

This is giving me Danse flashbacks and I’m Concerned too... how would the clone react to finding what he is, what happens to this guy if there is a “real” Shiro and he comes back, if the “real” Shiro was never the Shiro we knew then what? whose do these and those memories really belong to?... lots of things to worry about now, and #1 on my list is: when is Shiro gonna catch a break. 😞
