The little Prince of Oz

I'm going to make a post

That'll help people recognize and catch up on all the references related to Oscar's fairy tales of ozma / tip from / wizard of Oz and his other fairy tale the Little Prince and what characters in Rwby are the characters from his stories

I'll try to have it out by Monday or next Friday maybe next weekend

I also want to know that these are going to be my opinions these aren't Canon to the show

And what I feel maybe the accurate depiction of the characters and how they relate to these stories

I had really draw Oscar in a week or so so I made this at random I'm working in my shading

This is one of the original outfits I made for Oscar back when I got into the Rwby it's kind of inspired by my favorite anime my otome

This was a atlas/vacuo design for v6-10(or how ever long they will be in vacuo ) ,I even gave him dust I gave him dust because I had a theory that the long memory had like a dust chamber in it kind of like rice is sore it does where he could add dust but I guess that theory doesn't matter anymore cuz the cane has kinetic energy or magic in it from what we've been told in the show and then the volume eight commentary from the crwby

I know I said this before in another drawing I posted on here but originally the necklace he had around his neck was going to give him the ability to interchange between dust being used in his outfit kind of like how cinder head dust in her outfit and volume 1 through 3 and that way is depending on

the environment he's in he could make his outfit go from hot to cold and have different elements shoot out of the cuffs on his wrist to kind of like Yang's weapon in a way and use the weapon with a gravity dust feature in the cuff to latch back onto his Cane if he drops it and shield himself from attacks while trying to retrieve the cane

there are still parts of this outfit I use in my current art that I draw Oscar in in the current redesign I've done for him which I'm sure you've already seen here on my Tumblr page like the gauntlets and bracelets around his wrist, the necklace and armlet on his left arm or things I still use I was using the boots I designed here and other drawings I did but after a while I stopped drawing them but I might go back to them because I do like how these are designed

Oscar atlas were

Oscar in snow catching Ruby rose petals

For this look I add red to the inside of the cape because like Oscar's current look and even cinder cape on her concept art they were supposed to have red in them but for some reason and so we didn't get that and I think that really sucks because I think that would have really looked good and it would have also link Oscar to team jnpr more caz he is with them most ,

I put him in a dark brown (all black is hard to see dark brown seemed easy to see even in dark setting it seems like it be lighter to me ) I add orange caz I think Oscar should still have his main color on him

Which is orange I get that his current look match's his eyes ,with the green and orange , and that he were green now caz he be coming another one of ozma life's

I tried to do Oscar sleeves like I did Weiss in my redesign of her look I'll try to fit that later

This kind of goes with my last post of the old art idea of oscars look I would have done him in the volume six and this is the look I would have had Oscar get when he goes to atlas I would have had Oscar get a new look along with everyone else I

would probably also give Oscar his own weapon so he could feel more like his own person cuz as you can see in this piece here I didn't put a lot of green in his look but I did have Oscar in a green scarf to show that in a way being one of ozma like-minded soul is choking Oscar's Life away in a sense that's

why it's one of the main parts that's only green in his outfit that stands out but I also wanted to draw your eye to his face because when a character is talking and stuff you should mainly be drawn to their face not every other part like I've seen people do with designs where other parts will be the main thing that's highlighted and you're stuck focused on that like even now and Oscar's current look and

Canon I'm always trying his hands and yeah his hands are used a lot because he uses them the express himself with through his body language when he talks with others but I think we should have still have more of that draws us to Oscar's face other than the red that's on his shoulders on his current

I'm going to do a full body one later so I can see the top under his cape
