it is possible to enjoy an antagonist. it doesn't make anyone a bad person. especially if that character is shown to have nuance or a complicated emotional past.

wanting a "villain" to have an emotionally nuanced narrative doesn't mean you condone their actions. liking a villain doesn't mean you are a bad person.

can y'all have some compassion? or just yknow let people enjoy fictional characters without questioning their morality?

people aren't "bootlickers" cuz they happen to enjoy a character who works for the military. they're not a bootlicker for wanting those characters to have emotionally nuanced narratives.
