I’ve been revived just to dunk on RT. If you know, you know.
After looking at the replies to my previous post,I’ve come to the conclusion that rwby is “diverse” if you don’t know anything about how racism, ableism, etc. affects media and characters other than the basic “sexy female bad” and think that just having diverse characters is good representation on its own without considering how they treat those characters.
With the tier lists going around, I found myself frustrated that there weren't any with multiple options for the characters that have changed drastically, because how can I really rate early volume Ruby the same as late volume Ruby?
So I made my own, which I now offer for your use as well. Feel free to share it around if you like it!
As for my rankings, that depends on the criteria, but here's how I rank them based purely on entertainment value.

What RWBY really needs
An Asian Character.
When Team RWBY tries to destroy Atlas:
When Cinder keeps repeating the same mistakes:
When Penny tells Jaune to kill her:
When RT tries to push Bumbleby with some cutesy, funny moment between the most hated lesbian couple.
Anymore reasons why RWBY needs an Asian Character?

So this is how I spent my day yesterday.
Thank you, everyone that’s commented on the last post of mine and let me know about CanonS’s reputation. Thankfully, that last reply seems to have shut them up for now. I could just block them, but honestly, I don’t openly debate them because I think I’ll be able to change their mind or just to be polite.
I debate them because debate isn’t meant to try and change only your opponent’s mind; it’s meant to try and change the minds of everyone watching. The idea is to present your position and back it up with evidence and the skill of your rhetoric to prove why your position is the better one and get those that observe the debate to lean to your side. I even got a reblog from someone that I believe is new to the blog saying that they don’t usually reblog this kind of stuff, but that I made some good points. At the end of the day, that’s what I want to do, make my points and make them good ones. Blocking CanonS at this point would just be shutting down my ability to prove my own conclusions correct and prove how very little ground they actually have to stand on.
Now, if they start harassing me, then I will be banning them, but for now they’ve been left with no rebuttal, so we’ll just have to see what comes next.
