real women have curves closing is such a goddamn travesty. i didnt know anything about the show at first but then i saw every single actress talking about how special it was for them and how important and timely it is right now and how many trailblazers are on that broadway stage for the first time ever ..

i cant imagine losing the community in that building or losing the chance to connect so deeply with your culture and family and history every night on a broadway stage. ugh my heart aches for them all

my headcanon is that Ana goes to Columbia and Dani and Carla from “In the Heights” basically adopt her while she’s there and Ana loves them bc Daniela reminds her of her mom and Carla reminds her of Roselí

And Dani and Carmen would talk on the phone like

and Dani looking at Ana getting distracted by her bf “Claro que sí! Studying so so much!”
