I thought that the actors casted for RWRB looked a little old for the parts but now that I’ve seen that video Casey posted of the Alex actor chasing those turkeys I feel like he’ll be able to grasp the personality of Mr. Claremont-Diaz very well

I know people are worried about June not having a casted actress, and honestly me too. I read theories of Nora and June merged into one character, and I'm really hope you are all wrong about this one, but I don't know.

Following the logic, there are reasons we may not had a cast yet.

They haven't found an actress yet, ot they found her and haven't make it public. Is not as simple as saying "you're hired", it takes a lot of time for paperworkd and contract signing.

Right now they are mainly shooting in England, according to everybody social media. June is only one time in London at the palace, and that honestly can be shot at any movie set. And movies are rarely recorded in a chronological order. So, no reason for June to be around.

According to the other movie I'm following, the sequel of The Old Guard, Uma Thurman is right now in Rome shooting her scenes. Which means she won't join the RW&RB movie until a few months. It is possible that June's actress will be joining once they start shooting in the USA.

Seeing Casey McQuiston being so vocal about the casting choices, it leads me to believe that she may have had say on the choices. Creators are really clear when they don't like an adaptation of their stories, and it seems Casey is excited about this. I don't think she would have allowed a removal of such an important character.

I know that a lot of people is saying that Rachel Hilson will be June, but she is neither Mexican or Latina. She will probably play Nora.
