“God, people are so annoying these days.” Addison said to herself before turning around to see Ryan. “Oh, hi there.” She greeted with a small smile.

Damian hated to leave Kate’s side but when he saw his best friend from across the room at the bar, he had to say hi. When Kate was talking to some of her friends and co-workers, he made his way over to Ryan, coming up behind him and gave his shoulders a gentle grab with his hands. “Hey fucker,” he greeted with a chuckle, moving so he could be standing beside him. “Whiskey neat, please,” he told the bartender before looking back at his longtime friend. “You looked lonely so I had to come over and say hi,” he teased, turning his head to look back over at Kate and ran his tongue along his lips. “How’s it going?” He asked, turning his head back to him.

If Damian and Ryan weren’t both at work, or doing some other random shit, they were either together hanging out or texting if they weren’t. The pair had been best friends for so long and while the ex-soldier missed his life in Charlotte, he loved his new life here in Oceanside with Ryan by his side. “That girl was flirting with you so hard and you didn’t give a single fuck about it,” Damian laughed as the two walked inside a hole-in-the-wall dive bar, finding open seats at the bar. “Two beers please,” he told the bartender before turning back to his best friend. “You’re goin’ to stay single forever aren’t you,” he said, laughing softly again.

Already down two shots and now sipping on a glass of whiskey, Dawson leaned back in his seat as he licked his lips, letting his eyes glide around the building. As much as the male was protecting himself, he was beginning to feel himself relax which made his guard go up five times more. Honestly, he didn’t mind drinking alone right now as it was quiet...that was until he unfortunately saw fucking Ryan Marshall sliding into the empty seat beside him. “There are more open seats you know,” he pointed out, keeping his eyes ahead on the bartender at work. The two have never really liked each others presence, especially because they both constantly fought over Camille’s attention in the past.

Sliding herself into an empty chair at one of the local rundown bars she found herself enjoying going to, Aanya slid off her jacket exposing her toned shoulders and semi-revealing black tank top and ordered herself a glass of whiskey. Running her fingers through her hair, she leaned back in her chair and looked around only to find her eyes setting on a familiar face walking in. “About damn time you showed up,” she teased with a wink, only showing up a few minutes before he did. “I just ordered a glass of whiskey. Would you like one as well?”
