Scream Factory has revealed the specs for its The Blob Collector’s Edition Blu-ray, which streets on October 29. Joel Robinson created the new cover art; the original poster will be reverse side.

The 1988 remake of the 1958 horror/sci-fi classic is directed by Chuck Russell (A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors), who co-wrote the script with Frank Darabont (The Shawshank Redemption). Kevin Dillon, Shawnee Smith, Donovan Leitch, Jeffrey DeMunn, Candy Clark, and Joe Seneca star.

The disc boasts a slew of new special features, which are detailed below.
