Tamara Dawson was Luna’s former boss at the bakery. After moving to Hollow Grove twenty years ago with her husband, Ray, the werewolf quickly got to work creating her business. The town needed a location to help their sweet tooth, and she needed something to keep her hands busy now that her and Ray weren’t busy with the supernatural war efforts. She was a savvy business woman, and an outgoing owner, always making her coworkers and customers feel welcome. She was headstrong with a kind heart, and never settled for anything in life. Things in Hollow Grove had been going well until a few years ago, when Ray went out of town for a week, and Tamara got the call that told her someone had poisoned his drink with wolfsbane. He didn’t make it. Life got a whole lot lonelier after that for the woman with no siblings and no children, but she powered on, and Luna always admired that tenacity about her. She looked up to Tamara like a mentor, always ready and willing to learn anything the older woman could teach. They ended up forming a close relationship, and unbeknownst to Luna, Tamara started to look at her like the daughter she and Ray never had. It led to her putting Luna in the will to be the next owner of the bakery, and it was a position Tamara had always intended to better prepare her for. The bombings at Spring Fling cut those plans short, though, when she hadn’t anticipated a bomb to go off so close to where they sat. Acting purely on impulse, she managed to cover Luna with her body before the next blast. Unfortunately, it was the last thing she would ever do. Not a day goes by that Luna doesn’t miss her or wonder why she’s alive when Tamara isn’t, but she tries to hold onto the hope that wherever Tamara is, her and Ray are together again. And that no matter what, she’ll try and do right by the bakery as best as she can.
