She’s supposed to come back for 1 episode in December and 1 in January
ah, okay. It didn’t even occur to me that her 4 eps weren’t all in a row. Thanks!
What are your feelings about Callen basically having Hetty's job now while she's away?
Ahhh! An unsolicited ask! I get so excited about these, I sometimes can’t think of things to write.
Like now.
I think that’s a multifold question, if that makes sense? I feel that things will be pretty status quo and nothing will change in terms of team operations and interactions. G’s been in charge on a couple occasions and done just fine. They’ve all done just fine. So, I feel that, at least for now, we won’t see it be a real impact.
In terms of my feelings on what it would mean on a more long-term basis, though, and if they pushed it more, I’d enjoy watching it. I always though G was Hetty’s most sensible successor, and so did Vance. But then you see that they try to do anti-Hetty stuff later on, so of course he’d be the last choice if they wanted to de-Hetty the place. (That always seems like an optics move to make it look like you’re doing something. Oh boy could I have a long chat with the kiddos out there about bureaucracy and administrative levels.)
But, anyway, I think (when the show remembers it), G is a solid and incredible strategist. They used to let that skill set shine more, but alas. (That’s a different rant.) I would have liked to have seen him watching over the team more from Ops while he was out, but, again that’s a different rant. It’s nice to swap things up and get different dynamics going. (Imagine G and Sam arguing over the comms. Imagine G spending all day with Eric while Nell is out in the field. Imagine G having to wear a tailored suit all the time and play nice with other agencies/departments.)
There’s plenty of potential if they wanted to push it. I just don’t think they will. And we’ll probably end up with something close to status quo by season’s end, with Hetty being the only real variable. (I also don’t see how, if she thinks the heat will be coming on, she thinks running is the best thing for anyone. If they want blood and heads, they’ll get them by going after the team. Unless there’s a new threat lurking that’s not related to the investigation...)
I don’t know if any of that made sense, and obviously I could come up with lots of “fics” if I had the time.
I’ll throw it over to you guys. What do you guys think?

There was an early CSI episode that featured "furries"
Oh yeah, poor tween me saw it and i’m still traumatized to this day.

There are some very nice fans on spoiler trying to enjoy the show. Unfortunately there are two really unpleasant folks, one of whom @ryan9098 has been dialoging with who is extremely anti Kensi and anti Densi. There is another one who is the same way about Deeks , and she just goes in and attacks anything positive about Deeks or Densi , it is really awful. I really do not understand their hate , they both clearly enjoy attacking pro Kensi or Deeks stuff.
ugh. I’m glad i stay out of it then.
I love the episode in S1 where Callen & Kensi were posing as a married couple getting a divorce. That argument scene at the law firm was hilarious.
Yes! Season 1 truly had some classic scenes! That was great!
I don't know how familiar you are with JAG. But in the final season there was a leadership transition from Admiral Chegwidden to General Crestwell. He made changes but actually communicated and engaged with his staff in a constructive manner. I think if NCIS:LA wrote the transition from Granger to Mosley in a similar fashion, her character would have been better received by the fans. What do you think?
Sorry, I didn’t get to this right away.
I wish I could make a response that was worth the wait, but, honestly, anything would have helped even a little. In fairness, some people were okay with Mosley more often than not, so I can’t speak for them.
(As someone who has had to take over and change things twice in a supervisory capacity, with the latter being a group very much set in their ways, it’s sometimes hard not to watch from the perspective of knowing that there’s no easy and singular way to instill change and beget growth; however, there are definitely wrong and guaranteed unproductive ways to do it. Everyone’s milage may vary. However, I’ll always remember what I was told when I attended a very good supervisory training session: “A manager gets work done. A leader makes people want to get work done.” Again, I think different people had different takes on whether or not Mosley made a good leader, finale aside. Online fandom isn’t always the most representative sample of who is actually watching -- and they didn’t really lose viewers this season as much as more time-shifted with the later start time.)
At the end of the day, we have what we have from S9, and we’ll see what S10 brings.

I have a feeling tonight's storylines will be revisited in the finale
I personally think we’ll see it in the penultimate ep, and poor Kensi will probably suffer for their time and involvement -- with some much escalated repeat Deeks reactions from “The Silo” and some bittersweet wedding discussions before events spur a shortened engagement.
I think the finale will tie up some other loose ties, though. I hope. While this was a probable precursor to the penultimate, I think a lot of people are thinking “Warrior of Peace” is a precursor to the finale and perhaps some of “Fool Me Twice” with the crime syndicate.
Just my two cents, which is worth less than that. Let’s call it my ha’penny.
We shall see! It’ll be here before we know it.
