After almost 2.5 years of using tumblr, I am now officially following over 2,500 blogs under the username intothecontinuum! I don't do the whole "follow-for-follow" deal, but do consider myself to be pretty liberal in following blogs, and rarely ever unfollow anyone. Regardless, I do like to think I am following a large number of very unique quality blogs. I wonder about those who have managed to reach the follower limit--i think thats 5,000 blogs tumblr allows you to follow before you cant follow anymore--and wonder if I ever will.

I cant keep up with my dashboard feed, nor do I really attempt to anymore. Most of what I view on tumblr actually happens to be on the individual blogs and I have a feeling that this is contrary to the norm for most tumblr users who almost exclusively use the dashboard only.

It would be nice if there was an option on our follower lists to arrange the blogs in an order that corresponds to when the blogs were last updated. Currently, the only way they are arranged is in the reverse order of when you followed them. It does say when the blog last updated, but this isn't too practical when you are following a lot of blogs and don't want to sort through the whole list to see who has recently updated.
