(Romanced Gabriel) Ryder, darling, I would like us to have a main castle somewhere in the world, but I can't decide if I fancy it on a more forested area, close to the sea, or some nice valley up in the mountains. Ryder would first burn the person who dared to ask him such personal information, then set Gabriel on fire.

You said Ryder can be protective of the MC?How would that show?Does that mean he can fall in love with a kind Gabriel too over time?

He gets protective in that he spells there stuff and tries to makes as foolproof a plan as possible with many contingencies. He also takes offense on their behalf, and is ready to burn anyone who speaks ill of them to a crisp.

But no, he won’t fall in love with a kind Gabriel. Gabriel has to show off their power and their ambition before Ryder would even consider them an ally, much less a lover. A kind, soft-hearted Gabriel won’t get that far with him.

Wiggles his eyebrows at Ryder. ” My favourite edgy coffee bean, think the brew would be as bitter as yer soul if we roast ya' whole ? „ In which Gabriel is good as dead, or something along those lines. “ Oh, brought ya' a latte, by the way luv'. „

Ryder snags the latte. “You couldn’t roast me whole if you tried, love. Besides, I’m not bitter. I’m ambitious, and one of the few with a clear idea of what this mad world needs.” He takes a sip, grumbling to himself as he continues working away on his plans for world domination.

Sweeps Ryder off from the floor in a practiced motion — bringing him into a POWERFUL bear hug — you know the kind of hug that might accidentally crush a few ribs during the process. Wiggles his eyebrows at Ryder, as he smoothly says a cheesy pick-up line to him, preferably a favourite of his — but does anyone truly have favourite lines ? It's a gambit he's willing to risk, not that Ryder can do anything about it. ( is it wrong of me to love Ryder, because I do. )

(I mean, I’m over the moon when people like the ROs. The worst thing would be to have an RO and everyone go: “That person. Nope. Never going to romance them.”)

Ryder’s face starts to turn an unhealthy shade of purple, a mixture of embarrassment and rage. The pick-up line isn’t helping anything, as cheesy as it is.

So he sets Gabriel’s coat on fire.

I wanna preface this by saying that a I completely relate to Ryder’s heels thing. Unfortunately for this evil muffin, my Gabriel is a tall, muscular lad. Despite that, he does respect Ryder’s tendency to distance himself from him in public and tries his best to tastefully stress how much he respects him. He just wants to cuddle at the end up the day with his powerful lad.

Just build him a taller throne and he’ll be good ;)

Hi~ I was wondering how the romance between Gabriel and Ryder would be?

Gabriel has to show that they are powerful and willing to at least stray to the dark side before Ryder will even consider them.

The romance is cool at first. Ryder needs to establish trust, which he doesn’t give easily. To do that, he needs to see that Gabriel will protect what Ryder values and that Gabriel is powerful in their own right.

Ryder isn’t cruel, but he isn’t good. Helping him gain and spread power are good ways to get the romance moving faster. One the relationship has heated up, Ryder likes to impress Gabriel by helping them accomplish their goals. He’s not a fan of demons, so don’t try to get him to work with them (or anyone else really).

Ryder hasn’t been in a real relationship (i.e. one where they aren’t just using each other). He’s not sure how to go about doing it, but he comes to realize he wants Gabriel more than he’s wanted anything in a very long time. Once he has Gabriel, he’s ready for the pair of them to take over the world together.

Trusting Iro is something I'm probably gonna regret, but the asks show some hidden depth to her that I am very excited to see ! (Contrary to Ryder who can seem kinda one note; could he let the MC see through his bravado in the game ?) Also could Iro kill the MC (directly or not) if they're romancing her and requirements aren't met ?

1. A little of a tangent, but for very, very spoilery reasons I have been careful to portray Ryder (and up until some of the most recent asks, Iro) in a certain light. I like to think all my characters have plenty of depth, but I don’t want to go revealing everything about each character–I have to save some things for the game itself. In terms of who I can talk most about, we have Alice, Iain, and Ramiel followed by Stephanie, Charleston, Zaria and Tom. Aelius falls somewhere below them, though not by much. Then we have Karyn, Leo, and Tadea. Sabriel and Michael we can learn a lot about, as long as we stay away from too many questions about why they are the way they are.

Then we have Iro and Ryder. These two, out of all the characters, have the most carefully crafted public persona, and for the most part, that’s who we get to see in these asks. There’s more to them than meets the eye, but I don’t want to tip my hand too much.
