Scourge the Hedgehog as a traumatized anti-hero. As someone who is a victim of circumstance, another victim of a terrible, terrible living situation. Scourge the Hedgehog as someone who cannot face himself, someone who acts like they're everything but can't even slow down to face reality. Scourge the Hedgehog as someone who is detached. Someone who isn't going to get better. He will keep repeating the same mistakes, keep making poor and reckless decisions. Scourge the Hedgehog as someone who has no real friends. Who is so mean and bitter and defensive no one genuinely appreciates him, and he genuinely appreciates few, if any. Scourge the Hedgehog as someone who struggles to find himself, as someone who constantly feels overshadowed by his better self and feels like he can never be anything more than a mirror image. Scourge the Hedgehog as someone who, fundamentally, is good, but despite everything, he cannot stop himself from being bad. He needs power, he needs authority. He isn't going to stop and think about why he wants them. Just a few thoughts. I'm very normal btw
